bug? Veteran costume pieces tradeable upon makinga new character

pretty much what the title says, is this a bug? or intended?

    lol I like it. I wonder if the fix is gonna involve removing those unlocks from non-vets who were traded for em. I mean, it's only the 1 and 200 day costumes anyway. Those unlocks are hardly the main reason to want those levels of veteran, even if the robes are fantastic.
    In game, I am @EvilTaco. Happily killing purple gang members since May 2008.

    It is not intended for these rewards to be traded to other accounts, and this issue is being worked on.

    Another part to this issue is that the rewards should not be appearing in the characters inventory when the character is created or is loaded into the game. We are still hunting down why these items are being granted after the account has already unlocked these rewards.

    This bug started the instant when you guys patched the "Hi-Pan (Alert version) was not dropping his costume bits as rewards and instead was auto-granting and consuming them behind the player's back" bug.

    No doubt it's related.

    Yepp .. since then we also get now Items in our Inventory for perk-unlocks.

    Ill look over the changes we made during this update, and see if i can find anything that could have caused this to occur. Thank you for the information.
