Theme Build help for a Dragon

Hello,

Me again.

Im trying to recreate another character of mine but I am having a bit of difficulty in what should I use for him.

He is a Dragon, so I would like to have Enrage somewhere in his build. He should have a huge sword, so Heavy Weapon is required... and of course, the mandatory fire attacks, maybe not a lot back at CoH(this is a reroll from him here) he only had a fireball and a few minor fire attacks.

I would like him to be survivable and capable of dealing decent damage.

If anyone could help, I have some experience with ranged toons here, but Melee seems like a completely new beast I havent tried yet.

Heavy weapons has a few powers that have advantages that add some fire effects. (eruption and brimstone). Other nice HW powers are cleave and annihilate, though I wouldn't pick both annihilate and eruption.

Fire attacks themselves will probably not have a very good synergy, maybe the 'unstable accelerant' adv on fireball, but I doubt using that is really worth it. For a dragon theme I'd go for fire breath, it is even kind of useful with a taunt adv, if you decide to make a tank.

To make your melee build a bit more survivable there are two block powers that have an adv that give you a buff when you attack with a melee attack. Those are the martial arts block (adds dodge chance), and the powerarmor block (adds damage resistance, but looks very techy).

Taking a offensive passive will probably make the fire attacks even less useful compared to your heavy weapon attacks, so I think a defensive passive is a better choice.

My own HW tank (can solo grav if played well):

The order I picked those powers is different while levelling up.

This my red dragon build, modified to your specifications. I play him as a Bestial/Fire build, but HW drops in pretty easily in place of Bestial. Enraged is easy to build between Cleave and Annihilate. I run this with Invulnerability, but you have the option of running Unstoppable for more melee DPS. Invulnerability allows this build to DPS-tank Warlord and Gravitar with relative ease, even without the increased damage output of HW.

Question first, you mean like an actual dragon or is this a name for a mythical fighting style?
