The Light Star Alliance

The Light Star is a sentient divine force that most, if not all my toons are based on. That's why I have a bunch of toons that have 'Star' at the end of their names. Gem Star, Dream Star, Glaceon Star, Wonder Star, Sol Star, Shadow Star, and the list goes on. In this thread, I intend not to post bios, but post their builds as I've received a few requests to update the old guides I've written up previously.

A few things to note.

• 1.For those familiar with Dream Star, the super support toon that makes any team have success ( =p ), she now has a thematic build, but Light, my main, has taken the role of being super support.
• 2. I build mostly thematic toons that can survive tough content. If you know me in-game, you know I like to run elite lairs or hard content, and will sometimes solo (due to no-one having the courage to join....) content. Some of my toons are PvP 'somewhat' viable, or EASILY modifiable, and will make a note to mention if so.

Gem Star Tough Ranged TK Build, my personal favorite. Just won't die, can solo Elite content, do it all type of toon.

Light Light is now my Super-sturdy healer. Some of you familiar with the Dream Star, this is actually an update of that build.

Light Star Celestial DPS ranged toon, that can solo Elite content quite well.

Dream Star

Galaxi Extremely well put together TK Blades build. So well built it has pseudo tanked Gravitar xD

Wonder Star Currently Stormbringer Typhoon Spam spec, but all her incarnations and FC spam builds are linked. Check it out!

Mysticat Quickly becoming another of fav toon. An Unarmed Martial Arts toon; high dmg and durability. Capable of Solo'n content quite easily.

Glaceon StarThematic Ice build, at it's best. Glass Cannon style xD

I do have a question for super stats. If I made a build combining ranged and melee TK attacks would I need to SS ego or could I gain all I need through talents and gear?

Nah, ya can definitely get enough Ego from gear and talents if ya wanna take Dex primary. I usually opt for Ego's tree since its more well-rounded, but can't deny Dex's damage focus.

The normal ranged/melee damage boost listed on Str/Ego are additive ('normal' meaning not the bonuses added when SS'd), so if ya stacking other damage boosts they don't amount to much in themselves (why I sometimes skip Ego entirely on some ranged toons that use MSA and Concentration and just main Int; I find the double-dipping scaling w/ Int to be better choice, and losing the additive Ego ranged dmg boost isn't that big of a deal- also allows me to free up a SS for Con instead of using a glass cannon Ego/Dex/Int combo).

Some nice builds here, OP. The themes sound pretty cool too. I like the idea of spamming Conduit for Celestial dps.

Hey l1ghtstar, love your builds... I based my TK blades, ranged TK, and healer off your builds but modified them to make them my own, I'm very curious as to what kind of builds Shadow Star, Gold Star, and Bionic Star will be... hope to see those builds posted up in the near future
