Smiling Soldier Celeste (Night Warrior Magical Girl)

Here she is, I think the power choices are mostly pretty solid but I'm not sure how Energy Wave will turn out. Ascension seemed like the perfect super mode for a Magical Girl, and Redemption is basically just there for fluff. Not like I really needed that power slot anyway.

It's a shame to use Night Warrior and NOT use the two 'boomerang' powers that get like +30% damage from stealth or double damage and +20% critical from stealth... may not be in concept, but they are SO good it's hard to resist them. :)

For Energy Wave, you might consider swapping Rank 2 for the other advantage that turns it into a Knock-TO... as a melee character you probably don't want to scatter foes to the four winds (although at rank 2 it may be enough to finish them off).

Well, I was originally going to pick those two powers, and they actually would kind of fit as Sailor Moon
homage powers, but they didn't seem to fill in my AoE hole. Looking closer though, they probably would work fine.

Hm... Maybe I could swap Energy Wave for the first Boomerang power and Smoke Bomb for the second one. The only question then is how far I should rank them up, and if I should drop Gifts of the Storm to pay for it.

Well, to give you an idea, the Ricochet Shot from stealth will routinely do around 5 - 6,000 pts of damage to up to, like, seven or eight foes.... you can pretty much count on destroying ANY minion-spawn that's up to, say, red-con.

Against Villains, SOMETIMES if you get a crit or a bounce-back you can take out the LTs as well as the minions. Two LTs will suffer bounce-back from the OTHER LT but a minion-LT means the LT likely doesn't get a bounce since the minion is defeated outright....

The fact is has a 100' range and is used from stealth pretty much means you have a Kill-Everything button. It's actually powerful enough (at rank 3 with Night Warrior and ranged-attack offensive mode) that I would often not bother waiting to get back in stealth and just fling boomerangs as fast as I could run through a map.

The OTHER boomerang power does more damage, but it's a cone and (I think) has a 50' range... I MUCH prefer the 'chain' of Ricochet Shot
nailing foes that are around a corner is most excellent. :)

I suppose once you're out of stealth, the second boomerang might be the better choice (higher dmg even without the crit bonus from stealth)...

Okay, since Ricochet Throw is apparently really good against groups on it's own, I swapped out Energy Wave for it, but I didn't pick up the AoE Boomerang attack.

So far it's been playing more like a MA/Nin Stalker than my actual MA/Nin Stalker did. :D I love it.

That boomerang.... it's a Use it now before it gets nerfed and sent to the bottom of the preferred powers choice list.

Once that happens, you'll probably want to reconstruct your build. it's something i like to call Flavor of the Month.... this month it's Nighthawk with all the cool powers that do massive damage.... next month it may be "meh" and a new power build will be necessary.

It's still a very cool concept as my Hollie Daye toon has a Sailor moon costume (chibi form) and Would be a fitting powerset.... let us know how it works out for you.
