Regarding layering.

Decided to start a new avatar and was playing around with a female fire concept, just to clarify, I was looking at the "Chest Wear" category and found a nice piece of thick scaled plate armour that's a type of combined bustier/corset (think strapless bodice), the only problem is it looks a bit silly with every tights or skin option, all the tights and skin options overlap, every one of them even the premium content I don't have which they want you to preview.

I realise they don't want people running around bare arsed but in this case the armour piece preserves modesty totally from the upper chest to the waist so...

Is there really no way to use these pieces properly without being forced to add an extraneous layer beneath that detracts from the outer look?

Thanks in advance if anyone knows how to remedy this.

Naming the chest piece would help.
Some Bare Skin options are nearly there. Golden Age Top and Tube Top are only ones with no shoulder straps.
And who would wear armor without something under it...think of the nips....
Or pick Skin>Animal>Leopard and color it with skin color.

Have you tried simply using the tights > cloth > solid color > no detail and set the color to the same (or as close as you can) as your avatar's skin color. This may then give you the effect you are looking for.

I have used this to create extra 'skin' designs from the Tights patterns on occasion.
