It's honestly looking at this point that the web pages for heroes are truly down for the count. I never minded showing off to my friends and random strangers. So I think for now I'll post some of my own heroes here. Maybe someone can learn something.

Name: Mikoto

First off, my main character. I have actually been working on different versions of Mikoto since the game was in beta. At the time, I really wanted to be an electricity user. But at the same time, I was thinking about trying to do something magnetic themed and didn't want get locked into a specific role all the time. That is how my version of Mikoto was born.

Mikoto is designed first as a jack-of-all-trades hero. Even at the cost of doing nothing particularly well, I wanted her to be able to fill any role the team is lacking on demand. The end result has been just plain awesome in team PvE content.

Given a limited number of advantage points to spend considering all I wanted to do, I found myself carefully considering which passive to use. Spending for more than one wasn't going to happen. I had already decided that in the absence of a proper tank, I was going to be it. So it was going to be a defensive passive, and Lightning Reflexes was just too tempting to fuel Resurgent Reiki with 90% or more dodge and 80% avoidance. Since tanking became my first role, Lightning Arc and Sparkstorm have the challenges in them so I can at least hold aggro properly.

With that covered and looking over my options, it seemed like the best way to get a high DPS on what started as a hybrid tank was to just really focus specializations on critical severity and hits. So that's what I did. Force Cascade made it into the power list as a powerful damage spike, with Circle of Arcane Power providing an on-demand energy form. Honestly, I eventually found the circle to be really useful on its own, so I tend to use it even if I'm not going for the cascade-spam. Cave In is pretty late on the list. However I really picked it up so I could have something to attack a big bad without either pulling or knocking my opponent away from the Defiant tanks. It works well.

Rounding out the third point of the holy trinity, Psionic Healing and Mindful Reinforcement is all the healing power a healer really needs. To boost that even further, I have Heroic Gloves of Healing with a quality Sentinel's Brooch for the +54% healing bonus. The healing bonus also really boosts what Resugent Reiki does so I keep it around for tanking too. That's in trade of an extra 14% critical rate for not using the Heroic Gloves of Precision and Gambler's Gem. Actually I keep both to swap as needed, but 2/3 of the time, the extra healing is really worth it.

Back to that topic, Dexterity with Expertise (Intelligence) backing it up naturally gives me a 32.6% crit rate before I get an extra 4 or 6% from the Vindicator specializations and up to 9% from Find the Mark (Guardian). Severity is at 75%. Combined, it is all a 48 or 64% chance of 75% extra damage depending on which glove I'm using. While Cave In is there so I don't pull off of the Behemoths I have no trouble stacking enough threat through raw damage to hold attention anyway. Or rather, if the Behemoth isn't properly using his crippling challenge, I can and will pull off of him unless I just slack off and do nothing.

I'm tempted to just replace that power with something to hold down PvP opponents. But really, I haven't been back into Stronghold Apocalypse since On Alert was released. That might be something for the future.

I'll be posting another build later. But feel free to comment or ask questions if you actually read this far.
