Been trying for the past hour to kill Warden Arcana...
She goes into rift mode, spawns riftlings.. i kill riftlings, and at random intervals the rift takes damage.... Theres no rhyme or reason when or why it does.... i sat and killed riftlings for literally 34 minutes before it went down...
It goes down, i start attacking arcana... she spawns some key thing...i focus arcana, the rift pops back up with this stupid key thing, and spawns riftlings again... i kill riftlings nothing happens, i kill key... nothing happens...
How in gods name, are you supposed to do this event?
I Need very very very specific detail on how this event is done, it doesnt say CRAP in game about how to do it... and please dont tell me... "Get a group" " Ask a friend" or any of thoughs bogus answers...im looking for Real information on how this event is completed.. spent all morning doing this event solo, and am not about to start it over....
Am starting to get Very pissed off, and am about another 1 hour session of this garbage from uninstalling and never looking back...
Wow, a whole 30 minutes, before rage. Patience of a saint id guess. It can take a bit more then that, to get replies.
Not, that it matters, sense I can only assume you've rage quit already. Ill try, regardless, to enlighten.
When the rifts spawn, they spawn riftlings. When you kill the riftlings, they leave behind little black orbs. Picking up the orbs will damage the rift. As a melee character, this is pretty easy to do. As a ranged character, this often requires a little more effort, like actually moving to the orbs to pick them up. You only need like 8 to 10 orbs to kill a rift.
It should also be noted, the last patch released last week has had the side effect of bugging a number of boss encounters. Arcana is one of them. She has been reported to be spawning far more rifts then normal. With luck, we should have a fix in the next couple of days.

That part is broken, last time i played Resistance before the Nighthawk patch and there just like every 15th orb damaged the rift. That part is bugged.
Yeah, tried this for about 2 hours yesterday. About every 3rd or 5th Orb damaged the Rift, and the bug where your health won't regen kicked in as well. Actually made it to the Demon Key and Arcana, whacked the Key, and Aracana transformed into TWO Rifts, neither of which would spawn Riftlings. As it stands this just doesn't seem able to be completed.
A footnote..
I had the final part of the mission on a toon I hadn't played with for 81 days.
So I spent a while blatting every gorramned security guy I could find before going for the warp point thingys.
Still can't cancel Mega destroid powers by pressing block. This makes it more difficult esp on new players (not that they'll get that far anyhow).
Fighting Shadow Destroyer..
It's been a while but when did he get that force field? Which seems to regenerate at a fair old pace, the rift thingys seem unreliable. Sometimes he's stunned and his force field drops, sometimes it doesn't but seeing as how Doc Destroyer got the super regen bug it was very long but not difficult.
The endbringer fight went pretty much normal Doc Destroyer even took a bit of perceptible damage before healing up and it was kinda a relief not to have to deal with a PFF baddy.
So having completed it I would have been treated to the final cutscene but the application went crash (of course).
A ticket has been submitted Lolz!
Restarted the application and was able to gather the epic loot..
400 Questionite and another pair of resistance wings!...
And another 4000 Questionite from Defender on handing it in.
Feel like that Kenny Everett sketch... The cowboy one where he kept mucking his lines up.
I did it I finally did it..
But it wasn't worth it!
The gorramned non cancelable powers thing was with me when I left the toon 81 days ago.
Conclusion don't worry bout the not getting any further bug coz you ain't missing anything.
