Sneak & You

If you had Sneak before we replaced it as part of our Night Avenger release, please check in with the Powerhouse Trainers. You'll have an extra point to spend, allowing you to replace Old Sneak with the new Night Warrior power (which gives you the Sneak status effect).

We've got another system that we'll be implementing later to give Old Sneak players some choices, but if you've logged in today, just check in with the Powerhouse Trainer, you should have everything you need.

    Nightwarrior is an Offensive Passive. Asking players to replace a non-passive power with Night Warrior, on a build that already has a different passive is questionable advice.

    You are specifically directing people to reconcept or destroy their characters' builds. I am not sure that it is appropriate to specifically instruct players to potentially ruin their characters.

    Honestly, what use do you think a melee tank will have for Night Warrior ? What use will most melee characters have for two offensive passives ? Etc.

    my understanding is that they should be giving free retcons after a patch tonight to those players who had sneak

    Listen Cryptic,

    Ive had SNEAK together with Kinetic Manipulation and /or ( other build ) with Targeting Computer.

    NOW that youve changed this power it got REMOVED out of my Powers, now when i go to powerhouse i can select NIGHTWARRIOR ... BUT... i cant use Sneak together with the mentioned Powers anymore...

    SNEAK is not anymore wanted from my side anymore since i cant use it together with other slotted passives...like i could before nighthawk patch...

    Now i need to change my Power compeletely because i cant play my character how ive built her...

    SO i need Retcon OR you guys login and RESET all the powers of Shinigami@r9xchaos... please...

    I wanted to buy ZEN at the 1st September but i wanted to spend them for costumes.. not for YOUR CHANGE of MY BUILD :/

    You should have received a retcon when the patch hit. If not, contact support.

    As for Sneak, I'm okay with the way it's been reworked. Cryptic, you can't please everyone but rest assured at least one person is very happy with the new sneak and night warrior powers :smile:

    NO , they just removed SNEAK and left me there with 1 power to select ...

    means since i cant use sneak as my final power ..i had sneak as my last power in the list because ive tested Masterful Dodge ad other powers , but ive returned to Sneak everytime becuase ho wi played it was useful to me.. now i cant use it together with other slotted passives... so i ether need to remove my other slotted passives ( and force cascade ) OR i need to use another skil instead of SNeak but then i need to reset my targetign computer with something else...

    targeting computer is at the pretty start of my build.. -.-

    without cryptics powerchange i would not need to change things... but because THEY changed.. i need reset

    ive contacted support , im just afraid they dotn read my ticket or dotnt understand my bad english :/ ( not my native )

    well i like he new powers too... BUT not on my actual character...

    ok guys Turtle specified that another system will be out for those that dont like how sneak works right now and want it the old way.... granted i have no idea what the "system"is.

    changing how passives work??? dunno... but that might very well be it because night warrior is very different. an offensive passive with a blanket damage modifier so can be used for ranged or melee dps toons. it also has some defensive buffs, minor though they be. i LOVE this passive btw. fits about 10 or so of my 40 toons, use wise and thematically... just some will not use the sneak part lol

    I dotn care if teh new passive is good or bad... i had a specific playstyle .. and now i cant play my charatcer how i like .. because cryptic changed powers...

    MEANS i cant play my best character until ive a RESET on my powers...

    that mean i wil not play Champions when my char is fvcked up.. wich is propably understandable to everyone wholiked to play aspecific character ESCPECIALLY because i am a Silver user , ( i pay monthly ZEN with CASH to get costuems and stuff ) and i funally got my FreeForm... wich is my maincharacternow.. and if u destroy someones maincharacter you dotn need to expect that they will continue playing ... unless you fix what youve broke ( in my case u broke my powers ) ...

    i dont threat to quit CO ..(( nooen woudl care anyways )) but im just saying that i would not login .. because i would have no fun playing a broken character...

    then i would rather go play something else instead of sitting mightless infront of my screen yelling my keyboard why cryptic fvcked up my power build..lol

    Power changes happen all the time.

    You should of seen how ticked off i was when they catagorized IDF as a "form".
    And all that was to me was a graphical representation of my Speed Toon's "Friction Aura".

    Let's not forget the "Electrical Pass" (and the lack of retcons THAT generated) :rolleyes:
    And most recently Aggressor and Might.

    @r9xchaos, might i suggest less (veiled) profanity, and more restraint in your posting?
    You might actually get a Dev response that way.

    (As it stands, the only reason i stop and read half your posts is because of your nifty sig pic. :tongue: )

    Otherwise, your haphazzard, scattershot posts make me just want to skip right on by them.

    I strongly agree, I've already stopped trying to read the mess of bolded, underlined, italicized, CAPSLOCK, and yellow posts with no sort of coherent structure. It's quite the eyesore.
    Do you have several level 40s?
    Consolidate the currencies! (Please!)
    Does your Champion have a theme song? (share it!)
    Got a funny in-game screenshot? (share it!)
    Please fix the Overdrive energy unlock! (Should help promote thematic build diversity!)

    It would be wisdom you your part not to talk to Cryptic's team like "Listen Cryptic" as if they are a common company which you own. I believe rudeness can get you silenced/banned from forums, then how would you fix this issue of sneak?

    Also for the sake of people who read this thread remove that disgusting yellow bold and enlarged everywhere. If your post is an eyesore people are less likely to read is which is why I will change them to pink.
