Hi Pan, how to break an instance accidentally

So i went in 7 times with a specific character after playing on others and comparing them.

I have confirmed and thoroughly tested that pet masters (characters who wield many constantly-out pets) cause Hi-Pan instance to fail to work.

Any pet master who enters Hi-Pan mission, causes a hitch in the mission, where the first cutscene does not play, thus the rest of the instance, does not play.

This is a high-priority problem that needs fixing asap.

I think you are mistaken. Whenever I played this mission with pet masters, it doesn't cause said glitch (or do using munition bots and the angel pet not count?).

If I am not mistaken this glitch its caused by attacking a mob, before triggering the cutscene (aka walking down the bridge) I am not sure if this was fixed or not in the last patch.

Well, I can say that HandyMan, with his Support Drones and self-replicating Attack Toys, has successfully completed this Alert three times. OTOH, I think there are those who don't realize the first cutscene won't trigger until someone walks up to the bridge. (Got on one where I had to go up there as if I were trying to tank, because everybody else was just standing at the spawn point waiting for the mission to start...)

Correct. And you could break the second cutscene by attacking Hi-Pan with a 100ft range attack (or the aforementioned pets).

Just don't send in your pets beforehand. That's all it takes.

I go in carrying 16+ pets. The problem repeats only on this character, (overly) tested and proven to be a cause. This includes when just walking in without pets making any attacks first and even letting someone else run in first, they break it just by being there.

What are the exact steps to cause bug though? Is it like summoning auto-agro-ing pets (i.e.: gnashers) on the other side of the starting bubble?

I accidentially broke a Valerian Scarlet run of Dockside Dustup that way... Gnashers were summoned on the wrong side of the bubble and for some reason they went charging after her minions, on their own. Of course they killed a few of the minions before the Alert started, which meant it was now bugged and we couldn't get the required # to successfully complete the alert. I felt bad about that (even though the low-levels in the alert didn't understand why it failed), and even worse about it because the Epic Halo costume unlock item dropped. So yeah, be careful with pets...

Still though it would be good to know what the specific mechanic is.

Summon Shadows is one of the main cultripts of un-intentional agro, as those little guys seem to have a mind of their own sometimes. I've literally watched summoned shadows completely ignore the group we're fighting and race into the next room to agro a huge swarm of enemies a moment later, all looking for you, the summoner. Oh snap... *cringes*

PS: Although I have to admit, watching little pets go charge after a major boss that can easily destoy them in one blast is oddly amusing. As in I'm sometimes laughing so hard I can't hardly defend myself or stay in the chair. hehe ^_^

Just to be clear, bug fixing is still the #1 priority to me. (new content, particularly explorable content, is #2)

Please don't view this as a how to troll in Champions guide...

One problem I have seen repeatedly is some one uses a knock back to knock the blocking mobs off the platform. NOTE they DO NOT DIE. After a time the come back and block your buddies from coming back to the fight. Also if the mission completes and someone is stuck behind those mobs they will not be able to collect their reward.
