Magic DPS build request

Hi all,

I've been trying to make a Magical/fairy type toon that utilizes Magic attacks and preferably Aura of Ebon Destruction. I've taken some inspiration from Man of Light's Dream Star build but combined Skarn's Bane with Ego sprites and AoED.
So far I have Ego primary with Dex/Pre secondaries, with a high crit chance.

Does nyone happen to have a Magic/Fairy DPS toon? Thanks! xoxo :smile:

    If you're specifically using only Paranormal damage and aren't looking to make a pet build, you should probably be looking at Ego Form, Shadow Form or Seraphim...

    If you're mainly concerned with DPS, I guess it'd be something like PSS Ego, SS Rec/Con, Guardian, Vindicator, Shadow/Ego form in ranged role, Concentration, Overdrive, Skarn's Bane.

    I just want to note out that even tho you get significantly more offense with guardian, you still do more dps with avenger thanks to the increased dmg taken spec(forgot the name)

    Thanks for responding.

    I'm really looking at staying with AoED because I'm building my toon more of. A support toon than go all out dps. I'm in Sentinel role too. So far I have Concentration, Ego Sprites, and Skarn's bane, with 55% crit chance.
    What I'm really, really looking for is a more potent combo that doesn't sacrifice the magic/fairy theme...

    I don't know if it breaks your theme but, Ebon Rift with advantage is a nice layer. I made a toon that was DEX/CON/END and ran seraphim in support role. I used Skarn's bane, ego sprites, and Ebon Rift. Not much lived through that. Or go for a hold, Ego sprites, Ebon Rift, Skarns bane for lotso layers.

    If you're going Support and Presence SS, then you can take Celestial Conduit as a mighty heal. Moreover, if you are taking AoED then you can diversify into "magicky" powers in diverse power sets. For example, you could cherry-pick some Energy Projector powers and take a corresponding reverberation passive.

    AoED with good heals is a great way to easy-mode through alerts, by the way! It's great stuff.

    hmm, sound interesting, I've never tried ebon rift with adv. Use it before skarn's bane maintain?.

    Yes, what I like to do is: full maintain ebon rift, skarn's bane what's left. The rift continues for a bit and pulls towards itself. Now you can throw sprites in before ebon rift. or start off with a hold.
