With Freeform Slots in the C-Store now, everyone can get a chance to play around with builds (Though I still think a Sub is a better deal). So what is your favorite build? What's the most fun to play as?
My favorite so far has been a Dual Blades/Supernatural Hybrid. Its basically The Unleashed with a lunge power, an extra heal, and strength as the primary super stat. Constitution is a secondary so its super survivable. Its nice being able to play between DPS and tanking.
The most fun so far has been my archery/Dodge Build. EGO is the primary super stat and then there's DEX and INT. I love it because I actually have to think before I attack and I can actually make use of all the objects and terrain in the game. I usually stun or Root a mob and then just kite them around in circles. Its nice in Alerts too because I can be far enough from the action so that I don't get hit with close range Holds.
I'm quite fond of my Munitions toons, I have a few but my Quarry all range gun-fu android is my fav

I'm very fond of PAs,I have one with invul and reconstruction ciruits that can practicaly just stand and look at the mob attacking him without taking hardly any dmg.It also puts out quite a good amount of dmg.
My favorite build? Oh, about 38-25-36, with long dark hair and blue eyes...
"Science teaches us to expect -- demand -- more than just eerie mysteries. What use is a puzzle that can't be solved? Patience is fine, but I'm not going to stop asking the universe to make sense!"
Oh! What a fun & interesting thread this could be! (if people would put aside the snarky sarcasm for a bit lol)
For me, I started out as a Grimoire (my main) and Behemoth tank (David Javan). Ironically David has never been a good build (just can't combine force, power armor, and being a tank), but my main's build is hands down my favorite.
My favorite thing is zapping stuff, blowing up groups of enemies everywhere off high areas to fall to their deaths (yay for knocks), and more zapping mage stuff.
Queen Alyssa (my main) is built around 3 powers (which is unusual because normally I design around just one or two): Gigabolt, Lightning Storm, and Pillar of Poz.
Such an usual (and energy-hungry) mix is a delicate balance and the reason she has been using AoPM since day 1 of her being freeform. Spent about 10 days researching and testing her in the power house and I only had to ever RetCon her once (for free with the On Alert mega-patch, and spent a few gold to pick up concentration more recently when it came to Live).
I've also made it a point to NOT use AoPM on any of my other characters. And except for poor David they have all exceeded my expectations for what ever they specialize in, no AoPM passive needed.
While Sabra is fun to snipe with (she's my boss-killer of choice), Aidan has his hammer (ever played SuperSmashBros?), Kali looks genuinely evil, and Ynnea can out heal most damage in the game being dealt to a team.
In the end, my main is still the most fun to play because she's fast, adaptable, and absolutely WRECKS large swarms of enemies! Don't know why that's so much fun, but it is. And she's harder to kill than she looks too, unlike a pure electric ranged-DPS build.
I suppose it depends on what I'm in the mood for, each level 40 build is specialized for what they do best.
PS: To any new players to the game, might builds = entertainment!
Unfortunately, I don't have a favorite build because I can't quite make "my build".
The build'd be focused on extreme Magic damage, with all the runes, circles and all the nice visuals that come with Sorcery, but, for now, that's not possible in CO.

That would be extreme! I was looking at all of the Auras and Circles yesterday and if you could use all of them at once, you'd be practically unstoppable.
