Mass Effect Munitions/Force Build

I was playing with Pulsewave's Gyrojet build and was amazed by how good quarry is with primary int. The amount of int and ego that gets added is stupendous. Yes, I'm kind of noobish for someone that's been playing for several months.

So, a little bit of lazy searching and I haven't found a Specter-inspired build from Mass Effect. I've wanted to make one for a while, and the power of quarry and the energy discount of primary int and the stacked ticks from overdrive made me think it's possible to have a guns and force cascade character. Sorry if there's one up somewhere already.

I've only started playing this build, so it's still fairly early (and I'm crawling along with just assault rifle until I get to lead tempest, because it's not too bad and I don't feel like swapping submachine gun burst every time I gain a new power to reduce respec costs).

It's primary int for the boost on quarry, with rec for good overdrive, and ego because of the huge +ego from quarry. I'm unsure if diminishing returns from +ego means I'd get more damage by having secondary dex in there instead (depending on quarry stacks for the ego) for more criticals, but I'll just go with this since level 40 unity equipment makes decent crits possible even without dex.

I like the dodge from quarry, it's much better than I thought it would be--a little help with gear and it should be almost as good as real lightning reflexes, and with primary int, I can pop bcr pretty quickly if needed. Also, with lead tempest's tread softly, it ought to be extremely hardy for an offense-based build.

The idea at end game is to always have frequent active offense and defense up with the int (helped along by nanobot swarm), and 3 stacks of overdrive kept up with either lead tempest or assault rifle, to fuel force cascades. I may not be able to fully charge FC without secondary end, so I'll see if I need to just have one endurance mod later on. Even taps though ought to do good damage with quarry, concentration, the damage penetration from int, and the offense/defense boost from locus, best defense and aggressive stance.

Any suggestions? Anything in here totally broken? I've also thought about having it be primary rec instead to have really crazy energy from overdrive, or switching in dex or end for the ego. Possibly I might drop something to have retaliation in there for an uber-damage counter FC.

    Looks intresting,

I am not a numbers guy but my understanding is force scales with strength and munitions with Dex. So I am not sure how this wouold work with Int and ego. I am sure Ego helps beiong it is a ranged toon but Int is a head scratcher for me.

Force knockback scales with ego. Dex affects crit rate among other areas. My suggestion would be drop int for end and gear for cost reduction. Dex /int /ego would work but would nt be very tough.

My main munitions toon is dex/int/ego with quarry as a passive and works quite well. No energy issues and almost never have to use my EB. With force cascade, end might be viable though.

I respecced an old toon I got bored with, so at level 35, it's pretty neat. Overdrive lets me use the maintains all day (+15 energy per stack, so with 3 ticks at once that's +45), with an occasional half-charged fc. When electric sheath or lock n load is up, I can fire full force cascades even without endurance.

Hmmmm... I'm reluctant to drop int. I don't know if you guys have tried primary int with quarry, because the tooltip says it's giving me +82 total off of audacity stacks at level 35 with cruddy gear. I mean, +82 in two stats! It's a noticeable boost to damage, and the cooldown reduction helps keep up the rotation of actives (I can stack bcr with just the int cd reduction). I feel that any build with quarry has got to be best served by primary int just from the audacity stacks.

Toughness is also helped out a lot by tread softly on lead tempest and having frequent access to masterful dodge and bcr.

If I swap something out for dex, it's going to be ego, since I'll already have so much ego from quarry, and I'm not really using fc for the knock.

Yeah bluegrass, I think that is what I'll do. At 40, I'll swap out ego for dex. And I think I will find something to drop for protection field or something.

I really ought to drop sonic device since I don't really need it, but it just looks cool to use it and then lead tempest for all those explosions.

Also, has nothing to do with my topic other than that I was playing with this build, but wth is with people complaining about me being a sucky healer in alerts??? I'm in hybrid in case I get aggro and need to bcr, and is it not obvious that I'm not a healer with quarry as passive and munitions attacks? Guy must've been drunk.
