Voice Chat Not Working

I tried using voice chat but no one can hear me. I checked all the setting and not understanding. why its not working. i am using a Alienware TactX Headset, Built in Mic, Is it the head set thats not compatible or whats happening. Do the others i talk to have to be gold in order to use it? Please help i would really like to use this feature. :confused:
I do have a real life! I just forgot the password to it....

    Are you sure the people you're talking to have it turned on? Everyone I know of has completely disabled the thing ingame as they prefer to use their own external voice chat program of preference.

    That said, make sure the mic works in other programs, in Windows, etc etc.

    The People i have asked in my SuperGroup said they had it on, i was asking them to tell me if it was working. They said they couldnt hear anything. It works in all other programs i have used.
    I do have a real life! I just forgot the password to it....

    Same problem here.. Microphone tests good.. but I can't talk or hear with other players. It's been almost a month since thread started, did you get it running? Doesn't anyone have a fix for this problem?

    I've been having a similar problem, only with me the voice chat is only working sporadically. Me and 3 of my other friends were using it, and it was working just fine, and then all of a sudden they could hear me but I couldnt hear them. Then I could hear 2 of them, but not the third, and only one of them could hear me, etc...

    It went on like that, and its starting to happen all the time. It randomly cycles between who can hear who, etc... Its so random.

    We checked all our settings and everything is working perfectly on our end... Also, zoning from in and out of missions seems to throw the whole thing off.

    Same issue.. i think it's only used for adverts to silver players
