Launcher and Installer crashing.

It all started late last night after I got home from work. The only thing out of the ordinary was a warning from Cryptic about cussing in local during an alert. I started my usual routine of beating the holy hell out of Black Fang, Viper X and whatever other villain was unlucky enough to have a smash alert up with their name on it. At about midnight or, so I was feeling a bit thirsty so I went and poured myself a drink.
Coming back to my computer, I found myself on the in game login screen. Knowing it doesn't take me fifteen minutes to pour myself a drink, I checked the weather to see if there were any storms about that might be giving my internet connection some trouble. After all I saw was a little bit of rain about thirty miles south of me, I tried getting back in. I managed to stay in game for all of five minutes before the entire thing crashed on me. I spent the next hour trying to get in, only for the launcher to inform me that it couldn't connect to the Cryptic website.
I was a bit too tired to try and troubleshoot then, so I went to bed. Getting up this morning, I tried logging in, only to get the same error over and over again. I verified my files through steam several times and tried launching it again. Still no go. So, I went to the support section, read through it and decided to try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I uninstalled it successfuly and tried reinstalling it only for the installer to crash on me.
After spending the last hour running, updating and installing other games and programs, I've come to the conclusion that I have no clue how to fix this problem. Any assistance would be appreciated.
