Signature formating BBCode parity.

Can we please have the same options here as in STO?

Can't currently use BBcode for centering items in signatures or using colors (among other things) to differentiate things, but we can on the STO boards. I'd like to put guide links back in my sig but without the aforementioned options available it looks really bad and is hard to read so I'm leaving it out for now.

    Well if the speed at which our avatars were brought back is any indication, BBCode shouldn't be too far behind.

    At the bottom of "edit your signature" it shows the list of available options:
    • Allow Basic BB Code Yes
    • Allow Color BB Code No
    • Allow Size BB Code No
    • Allow Font BB Code No
    • Allow Alignment BB Code No
    • Allow List BB Code Yes
    • Allow Link BB Code Yes
    • Allow HTML No Allow Image BB Code No
    • Allow Code BB Code No
    • Allow PHP BB Code No
    • Allow HTML BB Code No
    • Allow Quote BB Code No
    • Allow Smilies Yes
    • Can Upload Images for Signature Yes
    • Can Upload Animated GIF for Signature NO
    Other than "animated gif sigs" (yeah, i'm stubborn, not stupid :wink: ), can we get a Dev call on what we "Can and Can't" have under the new formatting?

    Animated gifs were originally enabled at STO, and then quickly disabled. It seems that it is an official decision NOT to allow them.

    Lack of color options and such, plus not even having anything separating our signatures from our posts (not even some padding) just makes any text we use there like part of our post and very confusing.

    Why does "Defenders" pic show up under "edit MY AVATAR" in the upper left corner of the forums? :confused:

    Shouldn't it be show the "active account's avatar" like most other social networking sites? :redface:


    Oh, and you know that little "icon" that shows up i most custom made sites on the Left hand side of the text that shows you what page you're on on the tab?

    (Netflix, Facebook, PayPal, etc)

    I've checked all other PWI's "ALL GAMES" pages, and CO's is the only one that loads with a "custom icon"...

    Yeah, I kinda wondered about that as well, but didn't bring it up cuz I figured we weren't going to have custom avatars originally anyways. But still... kinda bugs me every time I see it there.

    I'll support this. My sig image is made to be aligned right, and it looks weird being aligned left. At least to my eyes...
