    If you do not already have a place to keep your pics on the net, PW does provide a user with one via a CORE Connect account, that can be found here. Or use the drop down menu under Community and use CORE Connect.

    Once there, just click on the Avatar to access the folders, specially, General Photos, where a player can place any photo (i forget if there is a size limit or not) for later use on this board (or any where, really).

    I only bring all of this up because it used to be a lot easier on CO's old board. If you wanted to use an image, and if it was on your PC, you could upload it and post the message and the pic(s) all at once.

    Sorry if this was more info than you needed. { shrugs } Maybe someone else might need this info, though.

    Well, I didn't know about pic storage on Core Connect (maybe it's not as useless as I had thought!). I've just been using Photobucket for mine.

    I'm guessing custom avatars aren't available for Silver members. I've tried changing mine using the link in the first post, but it changed back to Defender even though the page from the link shows my custom avatar...

    Oh well, guess I'll just have to settle for one of the pre-made ones.

    Nope, shows up fine.

    The picture at the top stays as Defender if you use a custom one.

    This forum is borged, after posting this I noticed my avatar was correct for the post, but it still shows Defender at the top left above the Search | Today's Post options.

    How long does it generally take for a sig pic to pop up? Is this reviewed by someone (maybe they are really busy :eek:)? Maybe Ive done something wrong?:redface:

    Posts have a setting under Miscellaneous Options on whether it should "Show your signature". If you do not have one, this is automatically set to be unchecked, and as such, your signature will not appear under any posts that were made in the time you didn't have a signature.

    Of course, you can edit your post to include it by re-checking it, so there's that.

    I'm a lifetime member but I don't anything in Edit Your Avatar that would allow me to upload an image. What am I missing?

    Hmmm. I always thought jpgs were better overall for everything. I like PNGs. They're more graphics program friendly.

    Another protip: if these boards work the same way as the STO boards do, they wont keep you logged in if you close the window. However, once you have entered your login info, all you should have to do in the future is click the "my account" link at the top of the page and it will log you in.     I know this is an old post, but I'm have problems with my avatar. The image is loaded to photobucket (http://i1000.photobucket.com/albums/af124/technicdragon/Power_Girl_Vol_2_27-face2.jpg) and it follows the rules for avatar images (80x78 px, 60.87 kb), but it doesn't show up when I apply it through the link you've provided here. Has there been further changes to the site since this post that won't allow avatars other than the staples they provide?
