Hey cryptic!

thanks for releasing this awesome costume set, i see you put a lot of effort into this one.

The Holo Hex armor pieces need to have the Holo Hex Field costume pieces put under the pattern option for the Holo Hex armor. because using only the Holo Hex Field costume pieces makes the player look like he has no armor and there is no emitting point for the Fields to even be projected from. the chest layer, shoulders, bracers and leg accessories slots need to have this fixed because the hands, feet, and full helmet slots have the Holo Hex Armor with the Holo Hex Fields on them. The hands slot has it because you sacrifice bracers to have a Field on your hands and lower arms. the Head has it because its an Eye accessory. the Feet have it because you sacrifice your leg accessories for it. the Shoulders slot should have a costume piece fit for it so the Field makes a little more sense then it does.

so you have the right idea i think placement of how the costume pieces work is a little off...other then that this is a really top notch costume set!!!

just please fix it! :D

Why couldn't they have made the Hex Field bracers be Arm Accessories instead, like what they did with the leg pieces as Leg Accessories? That way you could actually use them and the Hex Field Armor bracers at the same time.

thats what im talking about, they have awesome pieces that should be relabeled so they can be used in combination with the other pieces in the set instead of separate!

I would also like to point out that the Holo Hex Armor bracers are reversed on female characters. The set is also missing its shoulder pads, thigh Holo Hex Fields and hips layer for both genders. There are a few other Holo Hex Field bits missing as well.

There are also a TON of little gaps in the models for both genders of characters.

you have to search for the shoulder pads, it is not displaying on the drop menu. but it is there.

yes but in the concept art it self shows that there is a physical armor piece that would be really cool if it was included in the costume set. because a suit of armor is not complete without shoulder guards!

    EDIT: incomplete sentence XD

You mean the shoulder pads come with a non-holographic piece like in the concept art?

The shoulder pads are Holo only, which is kinda odd. And you can find them making right and left separately.

And one thing i like to add to this set. A Hip Wear & Gear piece or a Belt, with Chest piece you can't really find fitting piece for it.

agreed, and to the previous post above this one, the concept art shows a physical one but is missing in the costume set all together...

oh i wasnt aware of the concept art, nor of the physical shoulder pads. i noticed however that you can't find the holo pads in the regular drop menu and you have to search for it.

yeah in the concept art the physical shoulder pads are missing, holo hex fields are mission the the upper chest near the shoulders/neck line, upper leg and looks like the top of the head aswell.

with some of the holo hex fields on you cannot use the actual chest piece bracers and the upper leg costume pieces with the hex fields making it look very undesirable. i kinda really hope they fix it soon because i havnt gotten my stipend yet and i really want to buy the set...

id also like to get some Dev recognition in this post ether telling us its the way they want it or that they are fixing it because then at least i can rest easy about this.

I bought this set cuz the holos were just so cool looking in the preview (and I had my monthly allotment of C-points just sitting there)... but the "Armored" variant is just disappointing. I'm okay with the holo field variant not being heavily armored (a complaint mentioned in earlier posts here), but the lack of shoulderpads and a hips layer for armored version is seriously bugging me. There's nothing in Hips that matches the Chest Layer, and the only Shoulderpads I could find that worked was the Heavy Tech Sphere.

Why does it seem that every costume set recently has just been half-assed?

    1. Remove the difference between Long and Short Gloves, so Long Gloves can be worn with Bracers too.
    2. Add a "Lower Leg Accessory" slot and move the leg shields to that.

NPCs have these, allowing them some very good looking combinations. ;)

    nice necro.

You gotta color those pieces bright colors for em to display. make em white, then try. Might also be your graphic settings. I know on lower resolutions/specs they don't really display too well.

Here is another nice trick: Color the fields in the darkest black, so they become invisible. Then use a power that makes the entire body glow, like IDF.
This works with PSI pieces too. ;)
