In Character:

Rapture Tactical Response is a new entry in the field of Private Military organizations. Our primary focus is to counter threats around the globe that threaten the innocent. Our organization consists of cybernetically enhanced and augmented individuals in the profession of arms. All of our soldiers are trained in multiple ways, including counter-metahuman and counter-paranormal combat tactics, nonlethal capture and extraction, covert operations, and various other techniques that set us apart from other traditional paramilitary organizations.

Requirements:

-Must be at least 21 years of age with some degree of paramilitary training or some equivalent.

-Must be at least 25% cybernetic, synthetic human, or have a solid understanding of cybernetics.

-Must not use magical powers.

-Must not be wanted by any legitimate authority.

-Must be able to pass a psychological examination.

-Must not be a conscientious objector.

-Must have an acceptable credit score. This is for security purposes.

-Must be medically cleared for cybersurgery.

All members of RT2 are offered cybernetic augmentations to enhance their combat performance. Recruits are expected to have some degree of cybernetic enhancement and prove that they are medically cleared to receive additional enhancements and augmentations. If this is not the case, the recruits must have a significant understanding of cybernetics and know their functions and limitations. While no member will be required to undergo additional enhancement involuntarily, it is essential in case of emergencies for our medical staff to know your cybernetic acceptability status. If a member chooses to not renew their contract or resign, any cybernetics not purchased by the member will be scheduled for removal within 48 hours. Failure to do so will result in forcible repossession of the implants or augmentations.

We prefer recruits provide their own weaponry that they are comfortable and confident in using. However, members are offered a selection of adequate weapons to be custom-tailored to their specifications at a cost (payment plans are available). RT2 operatives commonly use the following ammunition in standard operations: .45, 9mm, 5.56, 12-gauge, and 7.62. This is primarily because these ammunition types are the easiest to replenish in the field and they are carried by several operational forces (as well as enemy forces). If your weapon utilizes other ammo, you are responsible for providing your own ammunition- there is no assurance in availability of other ammo types.

All operatives of RT2 are 'brothers and sisters'. As such, all are equals. Siblings will often quarrel and members of RT2 are expected to be adults and sort out their differences professionally and maturely. Acts of unwarranted violence against a member of RT2 will result in legal action after all augmentations are forcibly repossessed.

The bond between RT2's personnel extends to their families and loved ones. These individuals are considered to be part of the RT2 extended family and will be respected. As such, they will be privy to our operations, as we do not believe in hiding what we do for our loved ones (though this may not always be the case in very sensitive matters). However, you are responsible for the actions of anyone you bring into the extended family.

When on and off duty, operatives of RT2 are expected to be two things: They are expected to be themselves and true, and they are expected to be professionals. RT2 operatives do not lessen themselves or our organization by instigation fights and grievances with others. However, their will be conflicts of interests with others and we are aware this is a natural part of life. Operatives are expected to be mature in dealing with these conflicts and to never allow them to escalate into violence. A wise operative knows that his or her actions will reflect on all of us.

Operatives will not willingly associate with known criminals, terrorists, villains, or their organizations.

An RT2 operative is not motivated by pay alone. When not on missions, they are expected to protect the innocent and do what is right.

RT2 operatives know that while lethal force is not a pleasant part of our duties, it is an unavoidable part of those duties in many cases. We do not kill indiscriminately. However, lethal force is authorized in defense of the lives of others and oneself. Lethal force, by RT2 definition, is the 'application of necessary force which may cause death or severe bodily harm'. We do not kill those who surrender. We take prisoners and treat enemy wounded in accordance with the Geneva Convention (however our own operatives, extended family, and civilians will always take priority). We do not torture or used 'enhanced techniques' on our prisoners during interrogation. In any combat situation, operatives use common sense and wise judgment.

RT2 Operatives do not have 'competition'. Other private military/security companies are not at odds with us and we may offer assistance if their mission requires it and does not conflict with our core ideals. We maintain a professional work relationship and good rapport with these organizations if possible. However, if any member of another private organization creates any conflict with RT2 operatives, the Operative is expected to bring that information higher and the problems will be resolved.

OOC stuff:

Requirements:

-A cyborg themed character, human in origin is preferred. Other exceptions are on a case-by-case basis.

-Must use technology abilities, with possible exception for melee, martial arts, and other attacks. Having an understanding of munitions is a must.

-Must be literate and understand basic RP etiquette.

-May only have one character in the SG.

-No RL drama.

-No blatant ERP/fetish themes.

-Must be mature- we will use rough language and deal with mature topics.

-All cybernetics, abilities, and skills must be noted in the character's information.

-Any abilities must be reflected within the character's powerset or be reasonably justifiable within the scope of the character's abilities. (Such as using a knife or machete as a soldier character, having some martial arts skills despite being a ranged character due to military training, creating a temporary energy blade from the same material as the energy shield, and other acceptable non-combat implants).

-No overpowering other members. We are a team. We need different but equal members and no 'Superman' characters. If you want to be the Rambo and fix everything on your own, then stay on your own.

-Must respect the opinions of other players in the SG- good or bad, even if it is contradictory to what you believe. This comes with the caveat that if the disagreement is personal (As in, against the player), and you are asked to not press the issue, then show respect. (Example: You are allowed to say you don't like Elves as a character type. You are not allowed to sit and berate Mexicans).

-Must have a good grasp on reality. If I need to explain this, don't bother.

-Must have a decent sense of humor, a willingness to have fun, and creativity to share.

-Must be willing to help others within the SG, even on their alts when possible.

-Must show some dedication. I understand most of us have jobs or school, families or a small number of topless dancers to care for, and other obligations in the real world and in game. Periods of inactivity should probably be given the courtesy of notice.

-SG vault is a 'take what you need' pot based on the honor system. If you don't want people snatching it up, don't put it in there. However, we are on the honor system- don't pillage and take more than you need or to go sell for G's.

-SG chat is IC, with some degree of OOC tolerated. If there is a need for more OOC chatter, we'll make a channel. Generally, if people are IC in the SG channel, avoid OOC chat. IC in the channel will always take priority.

-No flashing your fetishes around openly. I'd like to think we're all adults, but if you bring something in the open- don't expect all reactions to be positive. Keep your character's sex life in the penthouse.

-No Jager Bombs. The last time I drank them I was taking my shirt off and chasing people down the street, and somehow I managed to wake up with a police baton under my pillow.
