New RP SG idea

I’d like to create a new RP SG. The idea is that every costume the Hero wears is actually a different version of that hero from another universe. The heroes protect the multiverse. This could allow for radically different looks per hero, yet keep the general theme of said hero. The hero could even be a different person in the other ‘verse such as from a different era if time ran at a different speed than ours.

I was drawing inspiration from Warren Ellis when thinking of a team name and the way it’s run. One idea was the Transversal Variance Ministry (The Ministry for short). Or perhaps the Periphery (because I thought it sounded groovy).

Does this sound appealing to anyone?

I like that idea a lot. If this comes to anything I'd definitely like to be involved.

I'm a huge fan of Warren Ellis, and also a total "Alternate Universe" addict as well. The only question I have is:

Are you suggesting that every member of the team be an alternate of the same hero, or that all the different heroes are multiversal? I'm getting the second idea from rereading, but I'm interested either way.

Definitely the second. Each player is his or her own multiverse character.

I am certainly interested, then. I just need to decide who I'd want to explore and use in an RP sense...

Groovy. I'll be around late this evening (around 10:30 CST). I'm going to make a new thread with a beefier description and more of a recruitment statement.
