There has been a lot of accessibility back and forth, lately. But this I praise.

Okay, I did take a break from the game for a bit because I was a bit sick of everything getting tinier. The minimap is fairly useless now in all honesty, so it's best just hidden. Some may have use for it, but in general I don't. Not so much.

But one thing I do want to praise is the inclusion of the objective arrow. Now, not many MMOs have done this. even in WoW you need a mod for it (TomTom), and really, that game has been out long enough that they should have included it. If you work hard on this, Cryptic, you could really make Champions Online an accessibility showcase, something to be proud of.

You are getting there.

There are a lot of things that bug me, but I had to praise that.

One thing I'd like to see is a way to be able to more easily spot vendors and the likes from a distance. But I'll leave that for your guys to brainstorm over. Though, you know, nameplates visible from a configurable distance may be a good option.

Anyway, in general, thanks.

You've made CO playable for me again.

This is one of a number of features their previous game had a variation of that I'd really like to see in CO. If there is anything fluff wise that is worth spending developer time on it's this sort of thing, the less a game has holding it back from being being easy to use the better. Generally speaking you want as few things holding a game back from being as widely accepted as possible, and hard to work with, read or use UIs are a huge slap in the face to every gamer ever.

Teaming systems and rewards I'm looking at you. Admittedly they have worked on this a little though.

There's quite a few quality of life things that other games have which CO would benefit from.
    • Shift click to buy multiple items from a vendor
    • Right clicking items in the bank to send them to your bags (after the first one is full it no longer works)
    • More responsive "Press Z to pick up" command
    • Disabling the fade to black with confirmation dialogues (e.g. when you want to sell a stack of items)

But progressively it is moving forwards. Hope isn't dead, it's just got a few nasty wounds.

Sorry .. but that really makes me laugh. WoW has the most crappy UI i ever saw in any MMO if you don't
use masses of mods. And even they can't fix the map where points are often shown 100feet away
from where the target really is.

EQ2 had from the behinning however a waypoint system where you could type in a coordinate and then
you've got a light-beam before you that leeds you to your target.

    • yes, please.
    • annoying. fix, please.
    • maybe even a 'pick up all near' command?
    • please, please, yes. inducing headaches reduces playtime :(

OMG, YES!! And furthermore, you reminded me of something:

What is with the "unique items"? I hate how they will show up on the ground, you try to take the item -not knowing what it is until you've hovered over it 2 seconds- ONLY to have it tell you "You may only have one of a unique item"! As if I really WANTED a lame pain-in-the-*** unique item for the 10th+ time.

Seems like there's something they could do to hide those unique items after you have one in your inventory.
