Crux Academy [RP and IC]

Greetings everyone, my name is Asuya Yuuki

I wish to extend an invite to Crux Academy, to all interested in learning tactics in a school environment...one that will help you to better yourself in fighting the denizens of crime all the round the world. Once you graduate...you can be recruited to one of many big groups out there...or you can stay and become a teacher at the Academy...the choice is yours.

    SG Category: Medium-Heavy Roleplay.
    Minimum Age Req: Regardless requirement, we just ask for maturity and a positive IC/OOC attitude.
    Special Reqs: We are a small, dedicated heroic academy dedicated to training upcoming heroes in smaller scale threats but do not shy away from the occasional large issues. Player Characters start as students through five tiers of training before offered a position as an instructor.
    Do you PvP? RP-PvP, as long as you can really justify your power choices.
    Do you run 5mans / Nemcons / etc? Yes
    Personal Taboos: Respectful to your SG mates and others in the coalition and hopefully to all players in general.

    Just wanted to give a friendly bump to an SG I have seen around.

    I wanted to say that i've always seen them as polite, very kind, and open to players new and old when approached.

    While not a member of Crux, I am friends with members and I must say that you cannot go wrong with them. Two thumbs up.

    Are there any specific character requirements, (do you accept non-human heroes or users of only specific power types)? What hours are most of your members active? Thanks!

    Also, I have many alts - one amount of activity are you looking for? What is your policy regarding inactive characters? Could I get by w/ playing once or twice a week for a few hours?

    There are currently no power requirements and few character restrictions. (we don't accept children toons) There are alignment restrictions, however. No psycho killer vigilante types. Heroics is not about slaughtering criminals.

    On another note for prospects, I would ask you to question the reasoning for a thousands of year old X or older joining a band of heroes in training. Or another side note, a universal force of nature (i.e. I am the true embodiment of death, life, love, lust, etc, etc) joining such an academy. Now, all is well if it can be plausible, sure. Still, setting yourself up high on a pedestal is almost a recipe for failure.

    Crux-Shorin Academy is the merger of a hero training academy and internationally affiliated martial arts school. We are small, but we prefer keep it that way because we prefer active players (sure a few SGs boast 200+ players but it means little when most haven't been on in a year).

    Our scope is general smaller scale... the tri-state area is threatened stuff. Or, at least that's what we try for anyways outside of training.

    Missing 3 classes as a student without informing the headmasters with just cause reasoning (send an email!) is grounds for release. It may sound harsh, but its hard to rely on people who come on for a few minutes out of a week when we are running RP arcs, classes, etc.

    Just found this out last night :0 You guys are more than welcome to temporarily regroup in Saikashuu if you wish. We don't mind at all. @DarkonX was pretty concerned upon hearing this.
