Are you a Vampire, werewolf, or Familiar interested in serving our group?
We are a lite RP theme SG, Our rule of thumb is Masquerade: to keep the fact we are monsters secret in public RP.
We like the modern classics, Vampire Masquerade, Werewolf Apocalypse, Carmilla, Dracula, Nosferatu, Anne Rice, Buffy, Blade, ect.
Anyone can join in on the RP theme though. Non Blood Kindred can Join as Familiars, Anyone can rise to the rank of Officer if they are cool enough.
Keeping it fun for everyone interested in the theme is what we hope to achieve.
The House Hierarchy: The SG ranking is used to keep track of what we are. Not who has more privileges. Everyone has the same privileges except the Nobles, and above. They are considered officers. RP continuity is needed to maintain social standing within the RP scheme of things. Please be respectful of the RP, The Nobles have the last word on who has more social standing.
Vampire: An undead human possessing dark supernatural abilities, who is compelled to exists by feeding on the blood of living creatures.
Dhampir: A hybrid born of one human and one vampire parent. A living vampire, possessing a Vampires powers, but not it's weaknesses.
Werepire: A vampire who is able to transform into a beast. Part Vampire, Part werewolf.
Feranthrope: A living human who is able to transform into a beast.
werewolf: (Lycanthrope) It is the most common type of Feranthrope.
Familiar: A person, or creature who serves another, or the household.
One thing Vampires, and werewolves have in common, is folklore. Along with witches they can be traced back to common roots. Such creatures as Varcolaci, Vyrkolakas, Strega, Strigoi mort. And so on.
A Strigoi mort is an undead Vampire witch, a Strigoi Viu is a living vampire witch. The term can be drawn from Strix. Or Owl in Latin. The owl has long been associated with the Succubus like monsters.
This SG is built on the theme of the common root, the shared heritage between Vampires, and werewolves suggest a common ancestry. We consider ourselves a surviving revelation of this common ancestry in modern times. We are all one big Family. Cousins in a household.
