If you watch the second video (which I prefer, though it is a bit long), Yuanji has about 4 cones and 3 different AoEs.

So in short, you want ridiculous anime. That's not really a shuriken storm as it as flechette toss.

Anime or whatever, IMO the animations are very low quality, with the exception of Hundred Hands.

When you are in the build menu (protector, avenger, etc..) and you try to update build with costume/role/equipment, the notches in the compartments are buggued. You can't click on one.
This is a very annoying bug. Thanks to debug it before put the patch live.

Edit: The superjump is ok now, thanks.

But I luv your wet nose silverspar!

    :)

Sadly it isn't just my opinion the animations are rather low quality, compare them to your beloved beastial stuff and they pale.

Ran through the missions up until I couldn't finish the mission that required the crates (Delivery of the Dead).

Basic missions. Nothing special that I have seen so far. Sort of boring.

Also, interestingly, according to the VB proper lore, the minefield is supposed to be owned and run by a man named Dante Bancroft. So how come Valerian is running it?

Bancroft doesn't actually own Minefield. It is just a cover and Valerian Scarlet actually runs it. Read page 115 of the Vibora Bay book.

Yeah, those crates are really getting on my nerves lol.

Overall, I'm loving it. Loving the pre-wolf Dogz and human Bokors. x3

I keep wondering what people expect. You spin around tossing out shurikens. Or do people really want ridiculous anime?

Not asking for anime, but I am asking for martial arts. The only thing remotely martial art-y about Shuriken Storm is the projectiles which are thrown. Eastern Martial arts have a fluidity and grace to them which Shuriken Storm, Elbow Slam and Rising Knee are severely lacking.

The 2nd vid posted by Nike (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFbqJF475Qs) is right on where I think Shuriken Storm should be. Particularly the blue jump attacks at 2:30 ish and 4:10 ish. The attack at 4:20 ish is perfect too.

Maybe if the character were to just float in the air, with their legs like the flight pose, as they spun it'd work. Its the cumbersome feet which really ruin the power for me.

Edit: Oh, now that I can have R3 Hundred hands without the ghostly hands, I'm well happy with it. Thank you :D

    BUG:
You can get stuck on the crates next to the stairs in Black masks Hideout by jumping on top of them with Swinging.

For clarification: The second set of boxes, that are a bit higher than the first set. You just have to jump up on top of the first set, then jump on top of the second set from the first.

Mister Gemini final fight suggestion :

Everytime we hit Mister Gemini, a new clone appear (like Madrox the Multiple Man) with a duplication animation (no smoke or summoning animation), would be great.

I totally agree. Currently the power really blows. It does very little damage per tick especially since it's only ticking every second.

Also, why aren't Toxic Nanites and Gas Arrow counting towards stacks of poison? Those would make a great synergy and it makes no sense for them not to work. It takes far too long to build up your stacks just by using infernal blast.

It does tick every .5 seconds, which makes it about 40% (in my tests, haven't tested base damage extensively) more damaging than Venomous Breath.

No it doesn't. It takes 0.5s for the first tic, 1s for every additional tic, which means you can tap-spam it to double its dps (like celestial conduit) at somewhat higher energy cost.

Can we please fix backhand chop's advantage? I do like seeing big numbers but 5k Dragon Claw taps from my tank is a little too much.

I'm guessing you are refering the the 16 stacks of focus?

You know what the VB missions need as we keep going back to Black Mask every single time?
Yep, the "call contact" from the Crime Computer that was dropped and not brought back after so many months.

    Thanks for pointing that out.
I had to respec out of 100 hands and then get it and rank it up again to see this change. Nice touch.

One hundred hands is just about flawless as a pve power now with the latest change.
If the dimensional damage on this power was actually useful in pvp, then i would give this power an all around A+

Even with the crappy dimensional damage, i would still say that 100 hands is probably one of the if not THE best thing we got out of this pass.

EDIT: Did the ATs really not get this power???
    The Fist did.
    Facepalm.

    Working as intended.

Stacking is a valid strategy in this game and will not be regulated.

Now if we can just find a hack that will let us get 8 stacks of enrage on top of those 16 stacks of Focus...

No, pretty clearly not working as intended. Due to the way diminishing returns on damage buffs works, though, it's of questionable utility.

Try it with Fury of the Dragon. Similar to Unleashed Rage which does bonus damage for each Enrage buff, Fury of the Dragon hits harder for each Focus buff. Over 2k crits twice every half second... it's downright scary.

I assume this is deadpan humor.

    Rofl wow.

Clearly working as intended. Melee needed a buff since range has been outperforming them.

I do that on with my chainsaw. unless you mean 2k crit each, one for fire and the other for slashing.

Hah. Didn't think of that. Reminds me of the good old days of bugged enrage stacking from zoning. Not sure if the record for most ridiculous damage with one hit is from UR with 70+ rage stacks or reaper's embrace back when you could rupture anyone's bleeds and zombies in ZA were generating bleed stacks. Pretty sure both allowed for six digit hits.

    Here are my thoughs on the latest build;

The new Unarmed powers are all pretty decent, however Shuriken Storm's animation is hilarious but not in a good way :P. It kind of puts me in mind of someone handing out sweeties, or candy depending on your region, but maybe that's just Halloween getting to me.

I think there could be a lot more attention paid to the already existing Unarmed powers, I haven't seen much change on those at all. For example, Thundering Kicks is a really redundant power. It could use a lot more damage, or maybe the ability to hit more than one enemy or something. That's just one example.

What I would really like to express though, and haven't seen much comment on, is what a fantastic job the team has done on the new "Minefield" nightclub in Vibora Bay! I was really impressed. The RP community needed a new hangout spot, and this fills that hole perfectly. Looking forward to it being on Live.

Actually, when I first saw the animation it reminded me of Jennifer Lopez at 3:15 in this video. It's almost like a dance! :D

That said, I do think a new animation might be needed here. Perhaps something that's a bit closer to Bullet Beatdown, where the character throws shuriken around in random directions, and not in a uniform circle.
