The Definition of RP SGs.

I was considering joining a RP Supergroup but I am new to the game and not sure exactly what a RP supergroup does.

I would like to know the definition of a RP Supergroup. Please chose all that apply.

A) Standing around in tights in bars chit chatting.

B) Someone in the supergroup takes the role of storyteller for an extended period of time and create a villain for the supergroup to defeat.

C) Talking in character in your supergroup's chat channel.

D) Questing/instancing in character.

If answer B is available, that would defiantly interest me. The other options would not be an interest to my play time.

All of those are MOs for existing supergroups. I prefer a combination of A and B myself, but there's certainly a supergroup that matches your style if just B is your goal. ...Probably. Someone may approach you in this thread, or you can try asking around in the CORP channel (http://forums.champions-online.com/showthread.php?t=133192).

btw, Fan Base Alpha, from what I've observed, has more RPers lurking about than here.

    What Xlauncher said.

My own group tends to type 3 and 4, but we're a lighter style RP guild. We dip into type 2 for large plots occasionally, and any member of the guild is free to do whatever they prefer, but by and large none of us are typical club bunnies.

And my group tends to do all 4 - the officers create storylines and villians for the members to play in and fight against, and members are encouraged to do so too in conjunction with us, we chat IC on the channel, run missions IC, and have social IC time too.

Recruitment's currently closed to let our new members settle in, but feel free to check out our forums and see if you like the sound of us.

    (My sig is the link.)

I wanted to know, have we got any RP hooks at SAS? I checked the Primus Database and there are none, I was wondering if there were any events of note to take into account when IC.

We do have them, including a currently running story arc, but the Role-playing counsel Officers haven't posted the threads on these events in some time, and I myself am not up on all the current details, so I'm not the right person to update.
