Random conversations with imaginary friends?

So what's up with characters having silent conversations with imaginary friends?

I mean at any given time, I might spin a toon around where I can see their face - only to be horrified by them engaging with pleasent conversation with the air in front of them.

Has this been discussed, is it already on somebody's todo list, or do I need to submit a ticket - it's pretty embarassing at times...:(

So players talking to them selfs? NPC's talking by them selfs? Speech bubbles? Local chat? Global? In Voice chat?

Naw, I know what he's talking about. I've experienced it before. He's talking about the player's character. Sometimes their mouths start moving, as if talking, for no reason.
Edit: Oddly enough, it seems to happen to me the most while charging a power.

Are you guys using voice chat? Because there's actually a feature that makes your character look like it's talking when you talk on voice chat.

OK, I thought everyone would know what I was talking about...

This is unrelated to actual chat or to NPCs or any in-game communication.

What happens is you just look at your character sometimes, and their mouth, eyes, facial expressions are going thru the regular emote animations of talking to somebody - sometimes they keep this up for extended periods of time, and there's no way to make them stop.

it may be linked to characters using Grim as their tailored expression - I'm sure my other non-masked toons have done this, but the main culprit uses Grim instead of Normal - he does it like half the times I play him - and this has gone on for several months.

I'm pretty sure that this was going on before voice chat was roled out - but it could be related in some way. It is not related directly to the use of voice chat, because I only use voice chat about once a week and this happens all the time - I will look at my settings - any more info would be appreciated.

Also, thanks to Darkshade9 for letting me know I'm not alone! Has anyone else had this problem?

some emotes that have you talk continue to make your mouth move even when you are no longer doing the

    emote...

had no idea that voice chat actually made the toons mouth move as well..

    thats kinda neat

Wasn't using voice chat, this happened long before then. And, I rarely use emotes. It seemed to happen when using 'Charge' powers, the most, and would persist until exiting combat. My character would stop talking then.

I think it's very accurate, I see people in real life do this all the time.
