Force Eruption does not grant a stack of Audacity when hitting targets.

Per the description of Quarry, any non-EB attack should grant a stack of Audacity.

Seeing as you all are fixing bugs all over the place.

Is explosive arrow with "Where's the Kaboom?" working as intinded?
in that the charge of the arrow has no effect on the power of the delayed explosion?

another issue i often see is that Zombie Powder will rez the hero normaly but every one else views them as still on the ground.

and as i said in another topic, I think Ebon Ruin has faster actiation time than it says and tazer arrow seems to have a longer activation time that it says.

Ebon Ruin fires near instantly but has a 0.65 activation time
Tazer arrow fires about 1 sec after releasing but says it has a 0.5 activation time.

Might be worth looking it to.

Most of the targetless AoEs do not do this. TK Eruption and Energy Wave do not either, among others. I will not have a chance to test them tonight to list the others. Lead Tempest is the only one that I know applies it correctly.

Hmm, maybe Quarry only grants stacks of Audacity to powers with Ranged or Melee tags. Since many PBAoE powers that aren't melee don't have ranged tags maybe that's why they won't proc Audacity?

Perhaps. It's not a huge great big deal, but it is... annoying. An attack is an attack, they should all give Audacity.

Targetable or untargetable? As I can see it being fine (ish?) on targetable/destructible stuff, but if it's doing so on untargetable scenery that's probably an issue.

That's how I remember it working - the adv makes it so you don't have to charge it for the full explosion damage. With the adv, the charge is to boost the piercing damage.

    Destructible world objects.

I believe there are a lot of powers that work that way. Then again, with a PBAoE it's more of an issue because of the ease of proccing it. And this adv in particular is very valuable to certain builds.

In PvP, it got a little buff when healing was disabled on teleport. But it got a PvP debuff when support drones became useful in so many builds.

My thoughts exactly. Being able to apply a stack of Defiance, Enrage, or Focus before running to battle isn't a big deal, but being able to apply a 1000+ hit point shield could be seen as a bit much.

I'm not gonna make a judgement call either way, cause ultimately I don't have a vested interest either way. It's just something I noticed and decided to point out, just in case it's something the devs want to rethink (provided it's even possible to change; it may not be).

    • BUG: The window/menu for Emanation point selection in the Powers window is invisible for non-EB powers. Tested Force Cascade and Fireball

      Reference: Ticket #15,769

This seems related to the bug that was just fixed for the Hue selector palette window...is there a root bug that needs to be addressed, or is this an artifact of the fix? Come to think of it, I don't recall making any Emanation point selections on the prior PTS builds so I'm not sure if this bug might be a leftover or whether it is new...

    • BUG: When clicking to try and pick a power, the Add Powers selector from the Power House can "hop" to show a different section of the UI (and subsequently select the item that is now under the mouse cursor instead of the item that was when the click was activated).

Reference: Ticket #<unknown from months ago, probably on PTS...have no way to access most of my past tickets>

I believe a Dev knows about this, but I thought it was being addressed as part of this next patch, so if the fix for this isn't simply delayed a bit, I just want to make sure it is mentioned here or to cover this in more specific detail in case it was another problem being addressed and I misunderstood.

    • BUG: The Bug where the Blueprint purchase window at crafting trainers opens to one tab (e.g., shows Power Replacers blueprints list...), but shows a different one selected at the top (e.g., ...but has Action Figures highlighted and apparently selected), has been back for many months (it was an issue fixed in the months after launch, but returned again well before the "Kitchen Sink 2.0" patch), and needs fixing.

While UI work is under way, I thought this issue worth mentioning again.

    • SUGGESTION: I like the sort of "too cool for school" "Snap Fingers" animation for some usages, but I would also like the option to pick different animations for characters it doesn't quite fit as well...it would be nice if it were possible to use the one-handed palm charged attack animation for a short duration, for example, or any other distinct animations that could be made to work, as Emanation point selection options.

This came to mind for a character I'm considering using Force Geyser for, who just looks odd to me doing that snap fingers animation. EDIT: Actually, I long ago wanted to use a grenade throw animation, or a new underhand quick-throw for timing concerns, as an option for some powers, so I'll mention that idea to broaden the thought that might be given to this, though I recognize that such an animation might have distinct issues...it seems to me that Emanation points haven't been given much thought lately and a reminder of the concern might be beneficial.

    • Err...Nevermind on this one. :P

Repeat SUGGESTION: Please consider having some testing time on PTS for the Jet Packs before putting them on Live.

Not knowing what functionality changes might come with these, if I am not mistaken in my impression that something of the like is indeed coming with them, perhaps a lack of testing on PTS is fine, or maintaining surprise is considered more important. In the absence of knowledge that this is the case, however, and with concerns relating to the general state of bugs in the game and the past issues with Phoenix Flight and back/slot related Travel Power reskins, I repeat my suggestion that this be tested on PTS before going Live.

Glad the Jet Pack doesn't replace your back item like Phoenix Wings. Was hoping it would be a Jet Boots style flight, instead of another generic flight clone. Any chance on that?

It's a bit of both. Hover is like flight, but full speed is the Jet Boots pose. And I'm loving that it works with existing back pieces. Looks sweet!

I would still like it folded into basic flight and then give us a choice of flight stances. I know flight stance was brought up around f2p launch when we saw Defender using a different stance while flying but the issue was dropped. I hope it can be brought up again.

    BUG: TYPOS

Quarry still says "Phsyical Damage" instead of "Physical Damage".

Ego Reverberation still says "Spirit Reverberation allows you to feed off of the fear of your enemies".

Spirit Reverberation says "off of" when it should just say "off". (For example, one would correctly say, "I am getting off the bus...", not, "I am getting off of the bus...")

    SUGGESTION:

One thing that came to mind is that if there were sort of "Electromagnetic Waves" as an optional alternative to flames, some other almost jet-pack-ish back pieces could interact with the power and make sense...the Dual Claws and Air Tank pieces come to mind. Actually, I think they and some others that don't work could make some sense even with flames in any case, but I think the Electromagnetic Wave idea is worth considering as well...

Whether this is an in-game Device as a rare reward or another C-Store item is an open question, though I will point out it seems a really natural fit with the Retro Scifi theme.

    ...

    Other Thoughts:

What exactly is the coloring supposed to do? It doesn't seem to affect the flame color, at least for the ones I tested....maybe I should go check that red effect on Big Rocket to see if that changes color. EDIT: Nope, it didn't...haven't seen the color selection have any effect on this Jet Pack travel power yet.

    -

I really would like the mechanics of Jet Boots flight to work with Jet Packs, and I'm surprised they don't. Any thought given to this, or reasons to share as to why it wasn't done? There is always the dreaded Zero Point Advantage alternative, but I'm not even sure where all those fancy new Jet Packs concepts fit in, and if/what any separate purchasable Jet Pack related powers will be offered...

    -

I really like the different flame behaviors of some of the different Jetpack pieces, and I wonder if the Electromagnetic Wave propulsion thing could be added as a specific special feature of a costume part...this of course opens up a way to create unique and desirable rare costume pieces (boy would that go well with a Moon Zone) that could interact with this power, as the one on PTS now seems to be the "free" version that is the solution to address everyone's concerns about being able to use pre-existing Jetpack costume pieces. What I wonder is if, in the vein of the Edom costume pieces, that a Device could be made to interact with Jet Boots and Rocket Jump to create "EM or gravity wave propulsion" effects for them, if it was decided to introduce them as rare items rewards rather than purchasble skins?

    ...

Err...since I didn't find "jet" when using Ctrl+F on the patch notes page when I checked after starting this reply, I assume you mean "I missed them because they weren't added", and not literally that "I missed the fact that jet packs were added into the patch notes."?

Or is there some other phrasing that was used that I continue to miss?

    Yeah, I meant weren't.

I do hope they add variations on the jet pack that use different animations. Electricity Jet Pack, a more retro sci-fi with circles of energies pulsing out, maybe a mystical variation.

Also I was expecting the Jet Boots speed too. Bit odd that they went the normal flight route there.

I understand, but I don't believe there is any precedent for such a thing. But it's possible that the new jetpack models may have differing animation effects. Not as nice as being able to pick and choose, but much better than them all having the default flame effect.

There isn't precedent for variations of travel powers? Light Speed is a variation of Dark Speed. Flight has a ton of variations.

So you're looking for 5 completely separate individual travel powers where the only difference would be what comes out of the jet pack? Seems a bit much, no?

One disadvantage to this is if you wanted different effects on the same character, but using different costumes. There would be no way to do it. IMO it's not a great way to go, but whatev, it's not really that big of a deal.

Notice the color key. Everything that is a C-store purchase is orange. Hideouts have thier own color key.

The new stance: Jet Pack Float is only avaiiable to males.

This makes me think that this stance is not planned to be released with The Jetpack travel power in the C-Store.

Please make a female "always float" stance too and relase it! While I plan on passing on the jet pack, if the float stance is included it becomes a MUST BUY!
