New FTP Acct Can't Login

I finally convinced my wife to give CO a try. She created a FTP acct, got the confirmation email, and activated her acct. She is able to log into the website, but not into the game launcher-"Invalid Username or Password". We have gone thru the PW reset procedure twice; each time it seems to complete successfully, but she still can't log into the game client. Any suggestions?
