Changing default controls

CO saves keybinds and a few other options per character, which is mostly fine, but I use other keys. I have severe altitis and redoing the controls again for each new character gets old fast.
Is there a way to permanently change the default controls?

    No, but you can "upload" the saved changes to each new character.
