Who are the Defenders of Order?
The Defenders of Order started back in ancient times, led by the original four horsemen, but the group quickly disbanded after the First Four's death, and has been long forgotten throughout the ages. The group stayed non-existant, until the modern age Avatars of the Four started it back up, in response to the many madmen, monsters, and various evil threats in the world, and are letting normal, powerful, and even supernatural heroes join their ranks. They are a group of heroes, dedicated to not only upholding justice to Millenium City, but they are also fighting to preserve peace amongst the chaos the world is in now. They are heroes banded together for a common goal: To protect the Innocent, the Just and all Things Peaceful. They fight as one, they fight as many, they fight as the Defenders of Order.

The Defenders of Order mostly work in the robust streets of Millenium City to the Radiation plauged sands of the Desert, to the Fridged North, and covering the vast jungles of Monster Island, to the chaotic streets of Vibora Bay; however, they do sometimes work out of the Untied States, and off of this world. They don't serve UNTIL, or is UNTIL aware of the presence of this group, but the Defenders do work with UNTIL if it is necessary for the situation.

The Defenders of Order are open to all heroes of any shape, size, or form. They are open to heroes that can shoot bullets to heroes that can shoot fire, heroes that can lift tanks with sheer strength to heroes that have tools to aid them.

Led by the Avatars of the Four Horsemen, the Defenders of Order strive to not only make the streets of Millenium City safe, but make the Earth a safer place.

OOC- The Defenders of Order and the theme.
The Defenders of Order is a Medium/Heavy Role playing group that has a theme that resembles to groups like the Justice League and the Avengers. While this group is open to everyone, the major theme that sticks out the most would probably be a classic/Golden Age/Silver Age based group, but we are not rejecting every toon that isn't "That Toon" or making everyone be a specific type of toon. Still interested? Then come to our website and apply today, or just view the rules that we enforce.

http://defendersoforder.shivtr.com/

"Why choose the name Defenders of Order?"
-Because after two years of Champions online being open, the names of the group avaliable has slimmed down dramatically, but the name itself doesn't describe the theme of the group.

"If this is a Roleplaying Super Group, it is fair to ask, how is your Roleplaying experience?"
-Personally, I am not a master of the art of Roleplaying, nor am I an amature at it. I have been Roleplaying with several guilds for some time, and with some friends, and so far, the roleplaying I do is good *Pats himself on the back*; however, the opinion is up to everyone, Roleplaying and how good it is depends on who you are and what Roleplaying you are used to.

"What does "Apply to Guild" option do, and does it force me to join the group?"
- This option allows you to, if interested, read more posts that are member specific, mostly Roleplaying Lore, and the other members biographies. The reason why there is more content behind the option is that only those who are interested in the group can learn more about it, rather giving members their own privacy to unknown people. The button won't force you to join the group, but you will be able to read most of the posts that go up on the site that are group specific.

"Is there leadership positions open?"
-Since we are a small group, at the moment, and the game has a large player base, it would be nice to have a few more leaders aid in recruitment, group management, and other "Leadership" type matters. Even though it is open, the qualifications, the process, and the punishments are more heavilly enforced than the member ranks.

"Is this a Horseman of the Apocalypse ONLY group?"
-Absolutly not, the post below shows that the Defenders are open to a variety of toons. The only roles that the Horsemen play into the group are: 1. The Horseman of Death is a leader. 2. The Four Horsemen founded the group. and 3. The Horsemen are in the group. Other than that, it is open to any kind of super hero (See below) and most of the RP material is created by the members themselves.

The main goal to the Defenders of Order is not only to make a place for your toon to thrive and fight alongside other heroes, but it is designed to help with you better yourself with Role Playing, and experience other's role playing. The main goal for the group, In Character, is to establish order and make the Earth a safer place, taking down one bad guy at a time (Thats right we are coming for you Foxbat ).

    Toons That We Accept

Every role playing super group needs a mix of every type of super hero, and we accept a wide variety of super heroes, because without a variety of heroes, this group doesn't have any interest and it won't be fun for either you or others. We do however, have a list of what kind of heroes we do wish to look for, so that you can have a general idea of what the supergroup might have open to you.

Technology: Heroes might require certain gadgets to prove their heroic agenda, or they have suits of armor that allow them to soar the skies of Millenium City. We do accept the tech wizards (Iron Man, Batman), or the gadget geeks (Reed Richards), we also do accept those who invent arrows (Green Arrow, Hawkeye), and munitions for any situation that they are presented with, and we are open to robots who have free wills, or have a sentient conscious of what is good and what is right (Vision).

Magic: Where would any group be without the assit of various magicians, or any magic buffs? We are open to magic users everywhere. While there are many types of magic users out there we do have examples for those who want a more "defined" mindset. Mages (Dr. Fate, Dr. Strange), Shamans (....I don't have and example for that), or Golems (......Still don't have an example for that).

Aliens: Every group, in one time or another, has had an oppertunity to welcome it's arms to heroes who don't reside off of this world, we do the exact same. We welcome heroes from other planets who have birthpowers (Superman, Martian Manhunter) to heroes who have alien tech at their disposal (Captian Marveel).

Elementals: Some situations have villians who don't rely on technology or magic to work for them, instead they call upon the forces of nature to act as their hammer, and we need heroes who can fight nature....with nature. We are open to those who can wield nature to their will (Storm) to those who are masters of a certain aspect of nature (Iceman, Human Torch).

Mutants: Since the leader is a mutant, we are open for mutatnt kind alike; however, we don't participate in mutant acceptance affairs. We accept mutants whose abilities are either defensive (Colossus), passive (Professor Xavier), or offensvie (Cyclops). While we are open to mutatns, we are NOT a "Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters", so only mutants who have had practice in their powers can apply.

Martial Artists/Mixed Fighters: Don't like technology, magic, or even powers? Do you just like the feeling of bashing in the faces of criminals with your bare fists? Then we are open to you! We do accept heroes who are experts of martial arts, a master of a art of fighting, or just a plain street fighter, we are open to you. We accept various arts like Marial Arts (Batman), Boxing (Wildcat), and even Swordsmanship (Deadpool), we welcome you with open arms, and maybe a few moves that you can learn.

Avatars: Do you gain your powers through a means of an artifact, spell, or any other means that existed to someone else? We welcome those who are currently carrying the mantle of another (Shazam), but the toons applying that fall under this condition are watched closely, to prevent "God-Modding".

Supernaturals: Are you a creature not from human existance? Are you a warrior of the night, or a warrior of the light? Then we welcome you with arms, we will take reformed Vampires, Werewolves, Lycans, Goblins, Elves, Angelic Warriors or Healers, and many more. We do however judge more stricter on "Darker" supernaturals, such as Demons, and creatures like that.

If your toon is any of these topics, then congratulations you have a chance of enterance, just go to the post above and click on the application link to get started.
    Toons That Are Frowned Upon

Rip-Offs: This isn't the group to send copy cats of your favorite comic book figures to, we not only frown upon these toons, but we will not even bother setting up an interview. We support orginality, not something that someone took from another comic book.
Evil Toons: This is a group for recruiting GOOD GUYS if your toon has dark intentions, or is a bad guy, then don't bother sending in an application. This is "Champions" Online, the name should give off the "heroic since".
Demons: Like before, this is a group for GOOD GUYS, and unless your toon is a demon who has changed for the greater good, then don't bother sending an application in.
Dieties: If you try to submit a God/Goddess or a Demigod from Olympus, Asgard, Egypt, etc., then you will be denied. It is very hard to make Role Playing events that best fit with your toon if he/she is a God from another Realm. We do try to prevent "God-Modding".
