Transformation Devices Gripe

I have a gripe to get off my chest.

I recently for the first time purchased a few transformation devices during the recent promo sale.
They are a great idea and have the potential to be a lot of fun. However, due to the fact that I can't arrange the power icons on my tray to make using the darn thing even remotely less frustrating, they have now become just glorified travel powers for me.

Please Cryptic, if you want these items to be as fun as you hope they can be, make it so we can move the power icons on our power tray just like we can with our normal powers, and have them save position as well.

    I detest the transformation powers.

    1) You have no control over how they look. One of the key aspects of this game is customization. If I want my hero to become a Werewolf, I want it to be the Werewolf which I have designed. "Be the Hero you want to be".

    2) They come with powers which (so far) are not available outside of the device. Such as Bat flight for Vampires. This, once again, limits customization because in order to use that power, I have to use Cryptic's vision of a Vampire rather than my own. Maybe I want Bat flight for a character which isn't a Vampire at all! Well, hard luck. The power is there, I just can't have it.

    3) Like the OP says, you can't re-organise the power bar to your liking.

    But as long as they are selling, I guess Cryptic will continue to churn them out. But these are the reasons that I personally won't ever be getting one.

    About the rearranging of the powers... i can move mine around. and put them how i like... just make sure the power tab is open before you try to move them around.

    About the transformation powers. I think the idea is to let you be a character from the game. A djinn, warewolf, etc... For everything else you have the character creator i guess. ;)

    You are going to have to elaborate on how exactly you are able to move the powers ***OF THE TRANFORMATION DEVICE*** around on your tray. I have tried every means I can think of to accomplish that, and so far, no joy. I have asked many times on broadcast on the off chance someone else has figured out how to do it, again, no joy.

    So please, if you have somehow figured this out, share :)

    I love the transformation devices. They let me play a Void or Savage (or weird other character) while leveling a very single-target PvP focused hero without being totally gimp.

    I would love to be able to rearrange my hotbar.

    I would love to see some vampires or djinn that are similar to the ones the devices allow you to become. Perhaps the Oasis in the desert could be revamped to make use of the new powers and effects that were released w/ the djinn device. It could still involve DEMON, who are already there. It'd be cool. Maybe a wind power device or 2 could be added to satiate people's desires to use those powers.

    I haven't been able to move my powers around with my Demon device, but what you can do is create 2 text files. One generic one with your current key binds, the other would set the keys up where you want the transform powers. You can create a hot key that not only transforms you, but also loads the alternate key bind.

    I had considered keybinds, but two things, first, I like mouse clicking most things, and second, I'm a visually oriented type of person, I like to group things together that are similar, like melee attacks in this area, ranged attacks in another area, heals over there, toggles over here, that sort of thing. Having to *look* on my tray and then have to read each icon to see which one I want is more frustrating than it needs to be.

    Plus, this should have been a no-brainer, I HAVE to believe that this is something that is in the works, just because it's that silly not to work like all of our other tray icons. I'd rather hold out hope for a patch that fixes/adds this functionality rather than believe it will never happen. Even if it never happens. :o

    I would like to see some of these abilities purchasable independant to transformation devices.
    The travel powers could be used by all to fill out a concept hero, and other powers useable in freeform would only encourage gold accounts.

    This needs to be bumped. Not being able to rearrange the skills on the hotbar sucks huge donkey balls and is unacceptable for something we purchase with RL cash. I love the devices, but i hate using them for this reason.Please devs read this and lets fix it ASAP.

    I will also add my cry to this! I finally have a concept that can use a transform device, but i always but "types" of powers in the same place for ease between toons. I need to move those slots!
