Looking to make RPish Supergroup

Hey all,

I'm looking to make a small RPish SG. By "RPish" I mean with characters that fit well together both aesthetically and power-wise, however nothing that is full out hardcore RP. A group that is small and tight nit who all are able to play and socialize together during the same play times.

To sum it up,

Eastern or Central timezone players preferred.

Looking for SEVEN players, that is a key to the theme of the group.

I have a hideout where meetings and such can occur.

No level requirements, everyone is welcome to join provided they are sociable. It adds to the uniqueness of the group if we have people of varying levels in it.

For the RP element, I don't want more than one character with the same theme or too similar powersets.


My character is an Archer/Swinger (think Green Arrow), Red/Black theme, and RP wise- no real superpowers and has a very "Peter Parker" type lifestyle. Named the Red Bantam.

If your interested in forming this group with me apply here. I am looking forward to seeing what kind of diversity we can get here that will hopefully make for a solid group and play experience for us.

    I thought about doing this very thing in the last couple of days. Count me in for the time being. Can discuss more soon. I have a fire based character that I'd submit. Plus plus others that could work.

    I was trying to make a group like this but didn't really work out. I am very interested. I have a couple of characters that may work for this.

    What is the theme?

    I have a summoner type person but not sure it would fit a comic book setting. I have a super speed Electric guy. I also have a 'wind' user(I combined force with might), and I also have a non-powered guy that just uses machines and things.

    I doubt you would be interested in the last guy seeing how you are already a non-powered hero. Why have 2? :)

    Anyways, If you are interested in either Blitz (The electric/ speed guy) or Vortex ( the 'wind' foce/might person), let me know.

    Blitz definitely sounds like a good fit for the group, every super group needs a speedster :)

    I don't think their is anything wrong with having two unpowered heroes in the group, my guy is an archer so a gadget guy would be a nice addition as well. Like a Green Arrow and a Batman type.

    Basically my idea is to have each character be a little different and unique in their own way, yet mesh together well as a group. Kinda akin to the original X-Men team, each character brings something special to the table and when they work together its just really cool to see.

    I don't want to give out the name idea I have cause I'm not sure if you are allowed to have duplicate SG names and I don't want anyone to take it. But basically, the name is a homage to an old movie (vague I know).

    Now I'm definitely interested as to what the name is. A old movie hmmm... I like your thoughts on where you want this SG to go. Definitely been waiting for something like this.

    Five is the minimum that you must have in your team to start a group right? Provided we get one more person to sign up to this idea, all we have to do is set up a time where we can meet and create it and then go from there. I'm pretty excited about the idea myself :) I've been wanting to do something like this in a superhero mmorpg for a long time.

    I think your correct on 5, and I'm sure it won't be that hard to get one more person. Gotta be one around here somewhere ;)

    I'm into this. I have two toons at the moment -- Sam Spellman an ex Las Vegas illusionist turned real-deal magician or Jack Rabid a rough and tumble mutant with the abilities of a Jackrabbit. However... I'm kinda itchin' to make a whole new toon.

    She messaged me and said that she was going through the tutorial with her new character but apparently logged off. Hopefully, I hear something back from her tonight. Her and Jack would round out the team quite nicely

    We are The Magnificent Seven, the name is a homage to an old western movie based on an even older samurai movie. Hopefully we round out the seven at some point tonight.

    Archery
    Might
    Ice
    Fire
    Magic
    Force

    One wish for us is a lightning based female character. I know we also like having a character that looks good. Meaning like a comic character.

    Hello all, Electric Entourage checking in. I had a great time meeting Red Bantam and Diamond Dove ( and eventually doing a complete Resistance run ) last night.

    I hope you boys bring some thunder because Diamond and I are no joke :)
