Hello. I am a old MMO player, having played lots of different titles including but not limited to: Star Wars Galaxies, City Of Heroes, Guild Wars, Everquest2, Lord Of The Rings, and of course World of Warcraft. Having played WoW over the last few years I just got tired of it. I have nothing bad to say about WoW, I am just sick of it. I figured I would give the Free For All Champions game a whril. I love it, it feels alot like City Of Heroes did to me, only better. After two nights kicking around on my freebie Ice person, I went ahead and setup a sub for Gold Membership and rerolled a Tempest. The game runs very well on my PC, and I must say is hella fun to play! With all the games set in Fanastay Fiction settings with Dragons, and Elves, and Mages. This game is a nice change for me. Its like a new pair of shoes that fit just right.

I am patiently waiting for Star Wars Old Republic to come out, as I think alot of people are. However for now mabye I will see you guys flying around the city fighting crime. I am glad I decided to give this game a try, it really made me happy when I seen how fun it was. I would strongly recommend Champions Online to anyone who is looking for something different.
UP,UP, and AWAY!

Fixed for you. Nice Intro !. From one child of the Seventies to another, a hearty welcome to Millennium City !.
Welcome to champions online, hero! You'll find there's quite a high proportion of older players here, - whether that is due to CO's appeal or the general aging of the gaming population, who knows.
I note that you have rerolled as a Tempest AT - one of the biggest advantages of subbing is access to the Freeform system, wherein you can completely control the powers and development of your hero. Mix and match powers to create exactly what you envision your toon to be. When you are ready to dive in and experience the full majesty of CO's flexibility, just click the ? Icon on the create character screen. This will also give access to powersets there are no ATs for yet: Power armour, Celestial, Infernal, Unarmed Martial Arts, and others.
Go nuts, and have fun!
Oh, and welcome to CO, That70s.Kid! Always good to see some young people join the game!
And yes, I am yet another 70's born MMO and general game lover awaiting SWTOR and having a blast (no pun intended) zipping, zooming and flying around Millenium City.
