Quest Info Disappeared

Sorry if this is an incredibly dumb question, but I've searched through the options menus and can't seem to figure out how I turned off the feature that shows me my quest objectives onscreen as part of my HUD, so I can't get it back, and it's terribly tedious to keep checking the journal to see what I'm supposed to be doing...

Can anyone tell me how to get it back? Somehow I just clicked somewhere accidentally and did away with it...

Click on the little arrow on the right side of the mini-map.

People, the lil' icons/buttons won't make your game implode or destroy the reality. It's okay to click every single lil' icon/button in your screen/hud to find out what happens.
And even if it destroys reality, next time you'll be a bit wiser.

You don't even have to click them, just hover your mouse pointer over them and they give you a bit of text (called a tool-tip by those with pocket protectors) that should tell you what they would do if you were to click them - I've yet found a tool-tip in-game that says "destroy reality".

    You're not looking hard enough.
I've found it, and unless you give me ONE MILLION DOLLARS....

But that takes some reading, and understanding what you just read....

Next you'll be telling people to read the mission text from the UNTIL contacts by the Super Jet telling you where the UNTIL building is. Crazy talk.

now lets be fair. you can get through 90% of the game without reading anything. I always get a shock when I have to read the mission text to finish it ;) it's not like they should have seen it coming.

Which is one of the things I like about DCUO. All of the mission texts have voice-overs by either Oracle or Calculator. They're usually short and to the point and not a huge page of text like some of the CO missions.

They also repeat the text in your chat-log so you can refer back to it if you want.

VO for mission text would be nice. I got to VB my first time to 40 without reading a thing. suddenly reading was required. took me like an hour of pointless running around to figure that out ;)

If you're not reading the mission text, you're missing out.

You're missing out on some very good writing, some nice lore, the occasional cringe-worthy writing, and quite a few rolling-on-floor funny bits.

Over all, CO has remarkably good mission text.

It's not so much a judgement as much as human (or at least my...) nature. It's like reading the instructions that come with that BBQ you have to put together yourself. I only read it as a last resort....

Yeah, I was honestly on the fence in beta about whether the green circles should have been used at all. It encourages behavior that removes the immersion, which makes the game seem more grindy.
