Do they do it on purpose?

The interface on most of this game is ok, but when it comes to the market place, trading, buying, selling, crafting, bank, and bags, this game is the absolute worst.

Do you do this on purpose to make subscription players waste more time doing frivolousus transactions? Do you like to torment players?

I'm really sick of it.

Maybe you could explain what you mean better.

Just saying "This is bad, fix it!" isn't really going to get anything done.

I think the general population in this game already know and so do the DEV's.

Certain transactions take too much time to complete. Sorting bags and the bank. Trading large amounts of items. Retrieval of large amounts of email. Trying to post stuff on the market and trying to get the different tiers is awful.

It's all one big giant pain in the ****. I'd rather poke my eyes out with a rusty old nail than to spend more time than I really need trying to complete the transactions in this game.

    If you mean things like...

-Low end gear flooding the AH and cutting out higher level gear because you can only see 400 items.
-Using some powers cancels out the AH menu but doesn't close it or tell you.
-Buying things from vendors for crafted travel powers take about 3 years because there is no "buy in bulk" button.
-Not being able to search by anything is the AH except name.
-Costume unlocks being scattered all over the place instead of being in the costume unlock spot.
-The way the bank accepts/removes gear. You have to have the right bag open, and it puts it in the first available slot instead of were you want.
-Not being able to choose levels 40-40 to stay as my default options in the AH instead of 35-40 or 1-40.
-Buying something buy double clicking it in the AH causes it to glitch and possibly buy something you don't want.

These are just the ones I thought of just now. I'm sure if I logged in I would find about a dozen more issues.

Ya. They suck. Just don't hold your breath for fixes. Because you will die. Literally.

Regarding the interface in general, here are a few things that stand out in my mind as "needing improvement":

    1. There doesn't seem to be any easy way to break up a stack of items. I should be able to right click on a stack of some item and get a little menu to split up the stack, followed by a little area to type in the number I want to split off of that stack.

    2. If I defeat an enemy, they drop a device, I have an open device slot, and go to pick it up - it should not instantly place that item into my open device slot and instantly bind the item to that character.

    3. If I'm crafting a healing item, it shouldn't place the first few into all available device slots, then into my inventory. It should place them into 1 neat stack in my inventory, and let me decide if i want to actually equip them, thus binding them to that character.

    4. If I defeat an enemy, they drop an item, and I go to pickup said item, I should be able to:
    a) choose to discard those items immediately, instead of having to pick them up then discard them
    b) choose to swap the new item with one in my inventory

    5. I should be able to set a loot threshold while solo.

    6. If I drag a stack of items to the sell window of the AH, it should prompt me to either set a per-item sell price and/or a per-stack sell price.

    7. The AH should actually function like an AUCTION; I should set a minimum price I am willing to let the item go for, and people should be able to place bids on it. At the end of the auction time frame, the highest bidder who meets that minimum price should get the item. Heck, I should be able to choose an option to review the highest bid, even if it didn't meet my minimum, to see if I want to accept it or not.

One of the biggest issues I have is how powers are queued. It seems that certain powers can be queued while one is animation w/o issue, while others constantly get canceled if i try to queue them when another power is activating. I cannot pinpoint why this is.

Shift-drag to another inventory slot, a bank slot, or an AH slot.. Shift-drag. Pretty easy, if you ask me.

Well this is the first time I've ever heard of this. So two things here; 1. Thanks for the bit of info! 2. Is this ever told to the player anywhere, and why isn't there any sort of right-click menu or such as an alternative?

I suppose a lot of this has to do w/ the game originally being intended as Xbox 360 & PC cross-platform.

I don`t recall it being mentioned anywhere. I got it after trying a bunch of key-combinations other games used.

heh that's me, too. you can shift select things from the ah to the chat window, too, stumbled across that one. Kane's a good list together there, though. It would be a good thing if we could buy things in bulk, it would be nice to search the AH using more filter options than are currently available.
