Killing is fun...waiting to pick up every item one at a time sucks. Is there a way to either grab every item at once or bind a key or something so that I can auto do it?

Different folks, different strokes I guess.

DC Universe Online has all drops appear as orbs. You can either walk over them or hit a key-combo so they all fly towards you (within a 50' radius or so).

Some people love that feature for the ease.

Others hate it because it breaks their immersion. Like Batman magically getting all of the pieces of trash in the Batcave with a wave of his hand.

Really, it's not that bad. Wait till the fight is done, equip a travel power, and have at it.

I played Rift the last months, and there was an option for AoE looting and also for direct looting without a popup window.
That is something that i really miss here :o

I just remember reading in a post about a guy having it set up to auto loot. It was probably a year ago and searches returned nothing.

I only really want it because of all the crafting items that drop on monster island and i assume beyond.

That's funny...because immersion should already be broken in that aspect...by the fact that you're "carrying" all these items around with you...yet you can't see any of them.

Well that's always a part of comics.

Sometimes you'll see some character produce a weapon and you wonder where they were hiding that thing.

DeadPool's 4th-wall-breaking likes to hang a lantern on it. When asked where the large rifle came from all of a sudden, he mentioned it involved a lot of lubricant. Orr something like that.

But yeh, Batman's utility belt can only hold so many costume pieces / rifles / vests / etc. As far as I know, only a handful of characters utilize hammer space.
