Camera distance problems.

I could use some help here. Having a problem I just can't seem to fix on my own. Today, I logged onto a character and everything seemed fine. Pretty normal etc, then I logged onto another character and well, the weirdness begun. In essence the camera zoomed all the way into my character's back rather close. I really prefer the camera to be out a bit. This is no problem, zoomed it out, all was good... until I zoned.

Now I remember my distance use to be saved until I re-switched it.. now I have to switch it again, and again. So it got a little annoying every-time I zoned.. but then I went back to the original character and... bam. Same problem.

So my question is there someway I can save the distance I like? Or at least get it back defaulted? I know it's not that big of a problem and just an annoyance thing but wanted to see if there was anything I could do.

    I think there was a bug introduced in the latest patch, as I have been experiencing this as well. The only suggestion I can make in the interim would be to add a /camdist command to the w key or such...

    For sure it's a bug, it's been happening to myself and my guildmates. I've reported it (shrugs) so lets see what happens next. What you can try (I've had marginal success with this) is lowering the camera's max distance.

    Hopefully they fix this in the near future.

    Cool, appreciate the head's up. Good to know it's not just me then and seems to be a known thing. Guess I'll just deal with the annoyance for now and hope it gets fixed in the future.

    Glad I checked here. I thought I messed something up with the default UI.;)
