Just joined a week ago and went Gold a few days later. I spend a lot of time just messing around with the character building. I do find it's a little more complicated than it looks when you try to combine powers from different archetypes, there's a lot of weighing the pros and cons.
I managed to make one that turned out pretty good, my undead gunslinger character Tex Arcana (see avatar). I have to work on leveling him up, but I get distracted by starting and playing new characters. I think he would fit in with a team of supernatural or western themed characters.
This is my first MMO (just got a decent internet connection). I'm wondering, since I am older, how many people who are out of college and older play these games? I know a couple of others like me who are parental aged(!) who play other MMO games, but I'd like to find some on CO. I'd like to joke around with the RP thing (without creeping out the kids

Give my SG a look (link in my signature). Many of us are parents and have been out of College for...I'll say many years now since we're not allowed to give out personal information on these forums. We have characters from various different themes. I haven't seen too many western themed but I've seen a ton of supernatural themed heroes in the SG.
