Hey all, trying too bind my pet command #1 and I'm having some problems. Nothing seems to work except the original binding of ctrl f1. Neone help me out?
If you can find the bind in the options list, scroll your mouse over it and it should tell you the exact command that is needed. From there type in the text box (I'll use the 'n' key as my example):
/bind n "+command"
I'm on my phone right now, so I can't look up the exact command, but I hope that made sense.
Sorry but like many others that have tried to get around this, it doesn't work. We all have tried to bind the attack pet command to another button. It doesn't work. The game setup atm will not allow it to work. So for now we're stuck with having to mouse-click on the stupid lil' emblem.
I've done a lot of testing with this, and the issue appears to be that the "use my target" command which was in the game at one point, is not there anymore. Thus, the pet commands we do have access to can put the pet into aggressive mode, but cannot force them to target what we want, nor to attack it. So, if you try to use the existing commands, all you can do is change the stance, but not get them to initiate attacks before you do, etc.

Tried this out when I got home and it doesn't work. Did not try the alias though.

Just tested "/bind n +petcommands_globalpettrayexec 0" (which is Attack), and it works exactly as expected. The pets attack whatever I have targeted. Is that what you are looking for? What bind command were you trying that didn't work?
EDIT: Found a problem. They won't switch targets using this command (as in, if they are already attacking a target, they won't go attack a new target.) There's an easy work-around, though:
/bind n +petcommands_globalpettrayexec 2 $$ +petcommands_globalpettrayexec 0
This works perfectly. It tells the pets to go Passive, then Attack, and they will attack whatever I have targeted at that point.
Are there any workarounds to keep them in a generally aggressive state? I find it annoying that a majority of my pets will just stand there doing nothing until I tab to an enemy.
Edit: Just wanted to add I messed around with the binds in here (not very keybind savy) and couldn't get my pets to attack anything. Even with the default commands (ctrl + f1) my pets will not attack unless I summon them after I have aggro, or if I click the button to attack.
The pet command for tray 0 just doesn't appear to work. He moves very slightly, then stops. If I click it it works fine. If I alias the desired button to CTRL+F1 it still won't work.

Is this intentional to stop farming or something?
I've tested this pretty thoroughly when the pet pass was done some time ago. As far as i could tell, binding the command to attack merely puts the pets into aggressive stance, but doesn't make them target what you're targeting nor will they go ahead of you to attack. The actual pet attack button seems to make the pets acquire your target, then go and attack it. I don't remember who, but someone mentioned that there used to be a "use my target" command for pets, but that was taken out for some reason...

Let's say you wanted to fire two powers with one button press. You could bind a key to the underlying commands, or you could:
/alias n "4 5"
(it may be "4 $$ 5". Posting from my phone.)
