Extract Torrents from Downloader

Thought I'd try the game, but got very discouraged by the slow download. I thought I'd try a trick I learned from WoW downloader. I saw some other people who had the same problem, so I thought I'd share


Download a program called PE.Explorer from HeavenTools

Open the File ( ChampionsOnlineF2P.exe )

View -> Resources

In the tree on the left, expand the DATA section

Listed in there is TORRENT

Right Click -> Save Resource As...

Save it as a .torrent and open in your favorite downloader.

If the developers are not going to put in the work to add proper port forwarding and bandwidth limits, they should at lease release proper .torrent files. Until then, I use this process. I don't use windows too often, so if someone has a better exe resource extracter, please let me know.

This sounds promising. I have been trying to download this game all morning and have only gotten to 1.14% and have been at a complete stand still. This is pretty sad for a game that is supposed to be so awesome. I am going to try your torrent idea and see how that goes. Thanks for the tip.
