HI I have just installed the Demo Client levels 1-15 (free) But I have also bought Champions online for £1.99 from play.com/
I played City of Heroes/Villians for 3-4 as Flush, Skinz, Spectra Phantom, Blush - Warshade, Cosmic Flush - peacebringer (Heroes), and FireFlush (Villians) years but have now decided after taking a break from my PC (because my PC blew up on me) I now have a new Win7 I5 PC so Im back in the game (you can find all of my heroes & villians on the Hall of Fame (heroes) & Most Wanted (Villians).
I'm just wondering before I start paying monthly Subs how the community is like on this game, Coh/CoV was brilliant I could get a team instantly & allmost everyone was friendly, unlike World of Warcraft big heads!:mad:
If you have played Coh/CoV how does this game compare as I have not played it yet?
Also which is the best Choice of character to make 1st to get into a team as I am a team player I hate to play solo, soo boring :rolleyes: .
In the demo I have 2 slots I asume a healer would be best, what would you recomend?

I too came from CoH/CoV. I'd left it after several years, and when Champions Online appeared on the horizon, I subscribed largely owing to lingering affection for CoX.
Long story short: if teaming is a large part of why you play MMO's, I suggest you give CO a pass and return to CoX. I wouldn't have considered team-play crucial to lasting enjoyment prior to playing CO, but it eventually dawned on me .. I enjoyed CoH much more, and for far longer, than I did CO.
If you self-identify as someone who enjoys team-play, if you've pointed it out as something your specifically looking for, you will be disappointed.
CO has deliberately gone to great lengths to be solo-friendly. Teaming is always an option, of course, and in a small number of cases, it is required. However, because upwards of 75% of CO's content is solo-possible, there is little incentive to group up, and as a result, few do. You will find many other posters mentioning (for good or ill), that it is entirely possibly to reach level cap without teaming up even once, should you choose.
Broke my heart, really. CoH still occupies a fuzzy part of my crusty and bitter little heart.
