I just bought the game. Played the demo this morning and had a blast. :D Even though I've read online that the demo is supposedly not like the full game, I had so much fun I had to buy it! This isn't my first MMO by far, so I know a noob area isn't the best judge of the game as a whole, yet I think I saw enough of what the game has to offer. If I'm wrong, I'm out $20. I can live with that. Besides I had more fun with the demo than I've ever had playing CoX. I just hope more people give this game a shot.

Anyway, pleasure to meet you.

Welcome to the game! Most people enjoy CO at least for a month or two - hope you enjoy it enough to stick around longer (as I do).

I'll be around for as long as the game is. Definitely not going to play DC Universe (can't stand SOE). Only other superhero MMO is CoX, and between the two I can already tell CO is better. CoX is so repetitve, even with the new EP. With CoX, even when I'm on a mission, I feel like I'm grinding. I might as well just run around town fighiting everything that's not grayed.

I know that the world needs a superhero MMO (clever, huh), and when I think of the options, I'm sure I'll pick CO everytime. The travel powers alone make CO better. The combat is fast-paced, as opposed to waiting for everything to recharge. I even like what I've seen of the crafting so far (despite reading negative things about it). I personally like open-world over instanced. It seems to me that a lot of the negatives I've read about CO are really positives. (I simply cannot understand all the negative things I've read about CO, which usually include some praising of CoX. It seems Cryptic got too harshly treated, IMO.)

The biggest thing, though, is that it's a lot easier with CO to feel like a superhero, which I think makes it so much more fun!

(Does this qualify as a "wall of text"?)

AGREED. CRYPTIC took it sweet up the @#$ on CO :) they cop heaps.while some problems there never seemed that many to me but i wasn't here at launch. to be fair, the game has come a LONG way in the last 12 months, but isn't that true of any new MMO? I love this game with a passion, when i have better net connection and can waste the cash I will play STO and probably neverwinter. while others may find this shocking i look forward to playing other games by CRYPTIC, so I guess i'm even a full company fan. :)

oh and no its not a wall of text. some of the people around here REALLY love to talk so you'll be just fine....lol
