Hello,
I'm a Malteser to bought this game this week to try it out. I got an extensive MMO Background since Ultima Online. At the moment there isn't much MMOs to go around. Aion failed unfortunaly. I still play GW PVP and was thinking of resubbing to WoW, since there is nothing! (Bring on FFXIV or GW2)
A friend of mine to have lifetime sub recomanded this game when it was in beta. I declined because I hate super heroes (lulz). This week he told me that its very cheap from a local shop, and me and some other friends all bought a copy.
The game is fun to play, actually it plays more like an action game then an MMO. I wonder if I can play with my PS3 joypad. I'm still in noob area because I keep remaking cahracters, too much customiazation to go!
I got a question, one of my friends said that healers are not needed in this game. Is it true? I went with Celestail. I did not that with Munitions I was able to rape mobs faster at noobland.

Anyway, I love the art direction of the game and the gameplay is more of an action game then mmo!

Welcome aboard!
I have a healer character. She is mostly redundant at the moment as the game's easy and people can respawn quicker than you can raise them, however we're told that fixes are on the way for this, as well as a difficulty slider which will make having a healer much more beneficial.

hmm should i just make a dps character then?
Make whatever you feel will be fun. I still have fun with my character despite the flaws in the game. I also have two alts which offer me very different play styles when I fancy a switch.
