Hi! I got the game yesterday (and loved it, especially the character creation) so I figured the next step would be to storm the forums...
Right now I've stayed up 5 more hours than I should have... so I'll just get to the point: hello! ^_^
Thanks guys.
Rune, those are most useful threads indeed. And speaking of supergroups... I don't know yet. I am a casual gamer I guess (I leave powergaming for P&P), I enjoy really light roleplaying (as in 'not very seriously') and I'm at GMT -3 (I don't know if that matters)
Thanks guys.

It's not a problem in my group, it isn't large, but most of my players are night owls, so you'd have folks to hang out with. Also, DJ Lorimarko from Dimensional Radio is one of my players, and has quite the following from CORP now. I'm gaining two to three new players a week these days.
Oh, and "not very seriously" is exactly what I mean. No Drama. Just fun. We mainly run missions together and spout off lines in character, maybe have little in character chats before or after missions to frame them in a coherent plot.

You wouldn't happen to be the famous Comic Book illustrator?
Will do!
I do have a couple of questions, so I'll lurk a bit and see if they have already been answered
Use your block and get a defensive passive.
Sorry to jump the gun on that but its the solution to the most common early concern, "why do I die so much ?"
Its a great game, the customization is awesome, and the visuals are stunning. Im sure youll love it.
But to be honest I only died twice in 9 levels... I use block on strong enemy attacks and I picked lightning reflexes ^_^
Heheh, wouldn't that be a turn up for the books!, he'll probably get complementary LT subs for both the DC and Marvel titles.
Welcome to Millennium City Alexandra !
(I should exercise some self control, though... I'm 5 hours late to bed again)
If you have questions on the defense passives, I have a link in my sig to help you [although it's a bit out of date now, some changes have occurred].
If you are a casual gamer, and enjoy light role playing, I have a super group invitation awaiting you as well. :-)

If you'd like to know more about us, I have an information thread up in the Super Group recruitment areas both here and at the Corp website.
