I've always been fond of military type superheroes in comics and those that can't really be classified as heroes (Army of Two graphic novel anyone), but it has been so difficult lately to make something exciting and new, something that stands out from every other paramilitary/mercenary costume that people wear.
The limitations in regards to costume pieces for a military themed hero (Uzi on left or right legs? or both?) make it a difficult task, and as I'm trying to put together five heroes that make up a team of mercenaries, it's becoming harder and harder with each one, and even then they look too similar.
So if anyone has a military themed hero, post them up, let's try and breath a bit of life into the military hero side of things, who knows, your hero might even spark someone elses creativeness. I'll post mine if/when this thread gets busy.
I've got a military themed heroine; here's a few of her costumes (I'm leaving off the civvies and a couple 'eh' costumes I'm not fond of). Some, like my Aircraft themed costumes, are power armor, while others are more traditional infantry gear.
Thunder Valkyrie
Warthog - Costume patterned (loosely) on the A-10 Warthog. (As you can imagine, I make heavy use of Gatling Gun.)
They look pretty good mistformsuirrel, I think my personal favourite out of all of those is the desert outfit, I like costumes that are a bit less grand than some that you see in the game.
