trying to make a bird character.

i am trying to make a cardinal bird character. any tips or suggestions. here is what i got so far.

powersets single blade(mace) , claws.

    More colour variation. I take it you're trying for a more classic look, but most classic costumes have at least two contrasting colours. Perhaps pale yellow for the boots, glove, beak and belt.

    I think there's a punk mohawk style haircut that might work well.

    There's also a couple chin pieces that fits nicely with the "beak" piece.

    Also have you tried coloring the part of the "beak" mask around the eyes black?

    I saw a Duck Dodgers cotume yesterday, so a beak can be done.
