The Marxman

In the early 70's the Spetznaz was training one of their newest recruits, Vladimir Stukov, Stukov was deeply involved in his training and spent weeks practicing basic routines and backwards hatchet flips, one day however his unit's Hind crashed, and they became lost in a blizzard while on a training routine, his unit perished quickly in the harsh wilderness, but Vladimir survived for a decade alone in the wilderness. When he returned to society he had found everything was gone. His family had moved on with their lives, his friends and comrades dead or missing, and worst of all, his country, his home, destroyed by capitalist pigs and corrupt officials.

Stukov took a rifle, pistols, and whatever other weapons he could find in an abandoned soviet weapon warehouse and armed himself. He had no family, no home, no companions, everything he knew and loved perished, and so Stukov did what any fanatical patriot with nothing to lose would do. He donned his equipment and headed out, to bring down the *******s who killed his country.

The Marxman's legend runs rampant among former Soviet citizens, some call him a hero, some call him a criminal, others claim he's fighting for a lost cause, Stukov doesn't care, he is a man of the people, whether they hate him or love him, he will fight in their name.

Correct on who said the quote, but the suit is a reference to the Rhino Tank from Command & Conquer Red Alert 2, who said that quote when they were ordered to attack someone.

Also contemplating a MIG Suit later.. would be cool to do a jet form.. I still wish I could have a MIG to fly around Millennium City.

Still trying to figure out what to do for future costumes.. a desert, jungle, and scuba costumes are possibilities. Was going to do a ghillie suit but the parts don't exist.

Ahh, that explains it. (I wasn't totally sure how "Rhino" fit into it; I guessed it might have been one of Kruschev's nicknames that I'd forgotten) <- Nerrrrrd.

A MIG costume would be awesome!

It's kinda neat, Marxman is, superficially, a lot like my character Thunder Valkyrie <,< lots of more normal uniforms, plus some power armor. In her case her main suit is actually patterned on the A-10 Warthog. (She's also got an F117 Stealth Fighter suit, and another suit vaguely similar to your Rhino, but imo it's not as well done, your Rhino really is nice)

Err that's a longwinded way of saying "Yeah, a MiG costume would be fantastic, I've done some stuff with American aircraft, it'd be great to see some Russian ones <^-^>"

Haha I tried to think about like old school comics and the special editions where they'd have an alternate costume "Marxman goes to Atlantis!" "Marxman goes to Canada!" etc.

Could always go for a Spetsnaz outfit, incorporate the blue and white stripes of the navy for an undershirt? You could also go for a CQB/Law Enforcement outfit based on the Rhino design, sort of like a riot team look for controlling those who would rebel and attempt to bring down the motherland

New Spetsnaz one, had contemplated it and saw your post and realized I had to do it. Took the Blue Tiger Camo (of course, it looks sexy) and the Beret just because I like Berets and they fit.

Been contemplating a Riot Gear one since day one, also contemplating a formal one as well, but it kinda kills the character, he's like that badass who you come into your presidential office and he's sitting in your chair with his feet up on your desk.

Also been thinking about a Desert/Ghillie suit one since day one.

Not sure.. too many options possible.

Spetsnaz one looks very nice indeed. It would be interesting to see what you do with the Riot Gear Rhino, I have a few thoughts in mind about making my own Russian superhero.

Ghillie would be interesting, but if you find a way to make the suit itself, make sure you tell me :P

Yea that's the problem, there really aren't any good pieces and swamp monster stuff doesn't work xD

Bleh guess I'll be buying like 15 more costume slots at this rate.. already bought 2..

    I need to do:
    Desert
    Scuba
    Riot
    MIG?
    Ghillie

Bleh.. the Spetsnaz will keep me preoccupied, its quite sexy. My favorite special forces in the world looks even better on my favorite superhero xD

Also if you do a Russian Superhero hit me up ingame, we run a guild of Soviet Superheroes (just started yesterday looking for members http://forums.champions-online.com/showthread.php?t=106084)

Yea saw that, its part of what reminded me, originally its what I was going to do with my special forces costume. Still kinda wanna do a full tuxedo formal suit for various stuff. Their desert one looks cool too.

Aww thanks, I get random whispers a lot, my favorite was this guy who stood there staring at me for like 15 minutes then goes "Oh I get your name, that's great lol"

Wait weren't you the guy at the costume contest sitting next to me?
