Earth week is upon us!
Our duty as living beings on this planet in part is to take care of the environment we all live in and share. In lew of Earth Week, I call all willing champions to design and share an Earth Week themed hero and share you creativity in this thread. You could make a hero focused around a variety of environmental issues; recycling, animal conservation, ecosystem preservation, etc.
I challenge you to make your own Eco-friendly hero and post it here in support of Earth Week!
First off, I'll share my creation;
Name: Greenhorn
Concept: Huge Beetle from Amazon Rainforest

Bio: Loggers in the Amazon rain forest began going missing whenever they were assigned to work in the deep eastern reaches of the forest. Eventually an investigation was organized and it was discovered that a race of Bi-pedal insects named the Khsxi made their home beneath the ground there. At first the logging companies planned on destroying the insects and continue logging the forest, but they were approached by a gigantic, ornately colored insect that attempted to communicate with them. Although the insectoid was peaceful, he was captured and taken to Millennium City for greed purposes. Thankfully UNTIL caught wind of this and sent a team of heroes to rescue Greenhorn. After staying with UNTIL for some time and breaking the language barrier, they discovered that he had immense strength despite his gentle nature, and he only wished to set up communications between his people and the world outside.
However good his intentions, the logging companies decided to continue the deforestation of Greenhorn's home. Now Greenhorn is in a race against time to gather allies and put a stop of the destruction of his home. He fights against crime and cruelty in the hopes that the world will take notice and spare his home destruction.

Old Growth - A millenia old forest spirit having recently taken up residence in one of the trees in Millenium City's McDonald Park.

Still not entirely happy with Wildling's costume though... for one the Vine boots don't glow unlike the rest of the costume, for another... I really need leaves to make the whole thing work, but... we ain't got none. >< Oh well!
