Hydro Character concept, need help!

Not so much of a costume or name request.. (I'm decent at puzzling those out.) As a 'thematic powers' request.


What.. I need to know is.. a list of good powers that can emulate someone with water manipulation abilities, and can be recolored if nessissary to generate the 'water' effect. Currently I am.. considering force/ice.. with one or two psi abilities.. granted I can figure out which one lobs the blob of psi.. and how it looks when colored blue.

    If you're not sure the appearance of certain powers you can use the PTS to bump a character up to 40 and try different powers in powerhouse.

    Saidan is right; still, I've answered this a long time ago, so I'll just go ahead and shamelessly quote myself:
    So, in the meantime, allow me to suggest a few powers, which might allow you to create the water-based hero of your dream.

    - Psi-Lash (It's very wave-like, will serve you well)
    - Skarn's Bane (Damaging whirlpool)
    - Bionic Shielding (Liquefy your character)
    - Devour Essence (Absorb fluids out of your enemy)
    - Ebon Rift (Create a whirlpool, which will draw your enemies in)
    - Conflagration (Rain watery doom upon your foes)
    - Aspect of the Dragon (Adds a very cool wave-like aura to your character) Power getting changed on the next patch
    - Ebon Void (Portable whirlpool)
    - Ice / Toxic Breath (Water spitting)

    Otherwise, you might also want to look into the following to complete your theme.

    - Ego Blast
    - Telekinetic Eruption
    - Telekinetic Wave
    - Ego Storm
    - Expulse

    Ahh.. thank you.. not quite the selection of powers I was expecting either.. hmm.. this will take much thought.

    I've seen someone use celestial as water powers to great effect lately.

    If I remember correctly, Condemn has droplet-like particles in its effect.

    Force powers work well too.

    I know you're more looking for powers than costume bits, but... The Swamp Thing set from the c-store can be useful in making a water theme costume.

    I dunno to which you refer, but the new (PTS) Condemn art could definitely pass as "sudden waterfall of doom" and the old Condemn art is sitting over in Celestial now. So either way, agree.
