Sometimes, I just like to make costumes. But the thing is, few of those concepts actually made it into the game.
But the thing is, I also like to show off. So, here's a compilation of a majority of the costumes I came up with during my time in CO.
-
Synaptic NEW
http://img704.imageshack.us/i/synaptic.jpg/
A version of Kinetik from an alternate Universe, where he was brought up by Dr. Destroyer and infused with Qularr Bio-technology. Think Samir Duran from Starcraft, crossed with Tyrannids from Warhammer 40K.
-
Amethyst NEW
http://img26.imageshack.us/i/amethystq.jpg/
A version of Sapphire from an Alternate Universe, where her mutation took a turn for the worse, during the Qularr Invasion. Though I think I just wanted to do a buff chick with a biker jacket...
-
Daggerclad NEW
http://img153.imageshack.us/i/daggerclad.jpg/
A version of Ironclad from an Alternate Universe. The idea was essentially a buff ninja with as much weapons as I could fit into the costume.
-
Spellcraft NEW
http://img249.imageshack.us/i/spellcraft.jpg/
A version of Witchcraft from an Alternate Universe. The idea was essentially to create a Witchcraft that was more along the line of the Concept Arts, only a bit more arcane.
-
Protector NEW
http://img176.imageshack.us/i/protector.jpg/
A version of Defender from an Alternate Universe. The idea was to create a more battle-hardened Defender that didn't weight 350 pounds.
-
Obliterator NEW
http://img249.imageshack.us/i/obliterator.jpg/
A version of the original Dr. Destroyer from an Alternate Universe. Though the costume was largely based on Shadow Destroyer, I wanted to make a more tech-based Destroyer, which would make extensive use of the Chainmail pattern for Tights.
-
El Presidente NEW
http://img153.imageshack.us/i/elpresente.jpg/
A version of Menton from an Alternate Universe. Basically, it's just Menton as an underpowered South-American dictator.
-
Mind Warp NEW
http://img688.imageshack.us/i/mindwarp.jpg/
A version of Mind Slayer from an Alternate Universe. She was basically an experiment, based on what would happen if Mind Slayer was possessed Medusa.
-
Zombat NEW
http://img218.imageshack.us/i/zombat.jpg/
A version of Foxbat from an Alternate Universe. The costume is based on the idea that Foxbat died during the Qularr invasion and somehow survived as a techno-zombie.
-
Atlas NEW
http://img34.imageshack.us/i/atlasxj.jpg/
A version of Kodiak from an Alternate Universe. Essentially, that just a misguided attempt to turn Kodiak into a giant Qularr monster.
-
Thek'a-Zhon NEW
http://img220.imageshack.us/i/azhon.jpg/
One of Tiga's latest Nemesis. Thek'a-Zhon is essentially a powerful sorcerer in the employ of the terrorist organization called MACE. He was more or less of a blend between Iron Man and Azar-Jhaved from the Witcher.
-
Tiga (Cold) NEW
http://img683.imageshack.us/i/tigacold.jpg/
Tiga, my main's first costume. The idea was essentially to create a costume that would just yell cavegirl.
-
Tiga (Warm) NEW
http://img695.imageshack.us/i/tigawarm.jpg/
Tiga's second costume, that I created with help from the fine fellows that populates the Costume Forum. The idea was to make a makeshift costume, that she randomly pieced together.
-
Tiga (Casual) NEW
http://img28.imageshack.us/i/tigacasual.jpg/
Tiga's more casual garb; the idea was essentially of dressing her up in regular clothes, while simultaneously hiding her rougher cavegirl features.
-
Tiga (PRIMUS) NEW
http://img117.imageshack.us/i/tigaprimus.jpg/
Something I came up with, after unlocking the Large Welded Visor through the Science Costume Unlocks. The idea was to create a more tech-oriented costume, while still maintaining her buff persona.
-
Tiga (Supergroup) NEW
http://img28.imageshack.us/i/tigasg.jpg/
Tiga in her Supergroup uniform.
-
Tiga (Armored) NEW
http://img6.imageshack.us/i/tigaarmor.jpg/
Tiga's most recent costume. I was looking for something new, and I really wanted to use the Jester Tight pattern on something.
-
Tiga (Villain) NEW
http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/3239/tigavillain.jpg
Tiga's next nemesis, after she has dealt with MACE. She's essentially Indubitable Girl's mother from an Alternate Universe.
-
Won't tell NEW
http://img265.imageshack.us/i/untold.jpg/
A character project that I've been working on, based on my old Spellcraft design; the idea was to create a costume that would show-off her aptitude for Primal Sorcery, while also allowing her to make use of the ever reliable Martial Arts.
-
Millennium Girl NEW
http://img190.imageshack.us/i/milleniumgirl.jpg/
Millennium Girl's costume was something I had come up with a long time ago, for a gadgeteering/electricity character that could replace Tiga. It is essentially a MACE variation of Indubitable Girls costume.
-
The Archhttp://img121.imageshack.us/i/thearch.jpg/
The supervillainous CEO of an hydro-electric company, The Arch was the nemesis of my very first character, Primal Moon.
-
VIP. X-105http://img710.imageshack.us/i/vipx105.jpg/
Veteran soldier coming from a world where manimals rules the world; somehow managed to get stranded in our world.
-
Radioactivehttp://img716.imageshack.us/i/radioactive.jpg/
Result of Russian's experiments to create super soldiers during the Cold War. Later left his mother Russia after being discarded by his home country.
-
Zombahttp://img6.imageshack.us/i/zomba.jpg/
Was meant to be Radioactive's first Nemesis; but he never got that far... Zomba was part of the Siberian branch of the project, which led to the creation of Radioactive.
-
Magical Mailhttp://img694.imageshack.us/i/magicalmail.jpg/
Cute interstellar mail lady; she was also loosely based off a Pokemon character's general feel.
-
Alien Invaderhttp://img684.imageshack.us/i/alieninvader.jpg/
Based off Marvin the Martian and regular power armored villains.
-
Mikohttp://img706.imageshack.us/i/mikof.jpg/
An attempt at salvaging Magical Mail's build. She was made in an attempt to create a costume along the line of the japanese shrine maidens outfit.
-
Re-Horakthyhttp://img683.imageshack.us/i/rehorakthy.jpg/
Armor infused with the power of the Sun God and reinforced with highly advanced technology.
-
The Spirit of Americahttp://img85.imageshack.us/i/thespiritofamerica.jpg/
The character I submitted to one of Adogg's costume contests. The idea was of a ghostly spirit representing American patriotism.
-
Captain Axiomhttp://img709.imageshack.us/i/captainaxiom.jpg/
Math genius who discovered one of the primordial truth of the universe. He was to be a Power Armor toon, without the armored costume to show for it.
-
Furokhttp://img199.imageshack.us/i/furokt.jpg/
An attempt at creating a yeti-like character, based off a mob in Dungeon Siege.
-
Cryosaurushttp://img101.imageshack.us/i/cryosaurus.jpg/
Cryosaurus' concept essentially came down to that of a sentient raptor.
-
Jeff the Screenshot Raptorhttp://img202.imageshack.us/i/jeffthescreenshotraptor.jpg/
Costume created to support the Raptor fake newscast I made a while ago; the plan was essentially to make a more common raptor, in contrast to Cryosaurus.
-
Panic Roomhttp://img202.imageshack.us/i/panicroomx.jpg/
My brand new PVP toon, with a sonic theme.
-
Indubitable Manhttp://img132.imageshack.us/i/indubitableman.jpg/
Tiga's (my main), first nemesis. He's essentially a delusional interstellar supervillain with an ego to match his reputation as a maniac. He was sort of a blend of Superman and the hero from Dragon Lair's space counterpart.
-
Indubitable Girlhttp://img42.imageshack.us/i/indubitablegirl.jpg/
Indubitable Man and Tiga's daughter from another dimension, that was tricked by her father into becoming her second Nemesis.
-
Dazzlinghttp://img716.imageshack.us/i/dazzling.jpg/
Tiga's third nemesis after the bug on Deathray Demolition was solved ( Thank you! ). He was essentially a jet-seven Telepath, with sociopath tendencies.
-
Mecha Gadroohttp://img693.imageshack.us/i/mechagadroo.jpg/
Tiga's latest nemesis; he's a highly advanced robot who was sent to hunt down TIga after she thwarted the Gadroon's operations in Canada. And yes, the word 'Gadroon' is restricted...
-
Xenohttp://img28.imageshack.us/img28/4879/xenoc.jpg
An alt I made by basing his background on an old legend from my home. He's essentially a demon of the hunt, who reinvented himself to fit better with the modern world. And everybody knows that supervillains are the juiciest prize a modern day hunter can dream of.
-
The Electrovoltaic Polyturbinehttp://img251.imageshack.us/img251/1583/electrovoltaicpolyturbi.jpg
The Electrovoltaic Polyturbine's costume, was something I pitched textually to a player that was looking for a Celestial character that would be space-based.

And that's it, I welcome every and all comments!
Comments
SteamTank : Steampunk fanboy that was jealous Steam got so much more attention. [Now in jail for good .... or is he.]
http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae356/copper2677/SteamTank01.jpg
TrueFire : Rival from Steams old realm that wants to prove he's the better fire mage.
http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae356/copper2677/TrueFire01.jpg
Well Hearth is the first of my alts to get his very own nemesis. One of the angels of death that has been corrupted and is working with the demon that Hearth brokered the deal for immortality with.
http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae356/copper2677/Death01.jpg
And now for my next entry I give you Agent Smiths nemesis:
Don Key Hotep : First mobster she ever arrested, born with a mule head. He became a Don through cruel and insane ploys that somehow actually worked. Obsessed with Egyptian culture but not knowing anything true about it he dresses in what he considers the latest fashions from there. He takes himself way to seriously even though no one else will.
http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae356/copper2677/DonKey01.jpg
It's time for Lamprey's nemesis, I give you Electric Eelette.
http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae356/copper2677/Eelette01.jpg
Eclpise: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v147/Masterhand/Eclipse.jpg
He is the Archnemesis of my main character Lonestar ((featured as my avatar.)). I haven't really worked out a back story for him just yet. He's a Darkness/Master mind, who's currently in jail for life......or at least that's what they think. Hmmm.
Frankstien: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v147/Masterhand/Frankstien.jpg Might based/Savage
This Lonestar's second Nemesis. His back story is partially worked out, it actually ties into another Nemesis' back story for another one of my characters. But I haven't reached level 25 on that character yet so..I haven't gotten to make the Nemesis. Anywho Frankstien was an early experiment of the deranged Professor Irvin Smithers. Who was greatly obessed with the ideas of Mary Shelly's Frankinstien. His first love was robotics..but eventually he became obessed with trying to bring back an already dead human being. And so he dig up a body of a rather tall man, but nature had already begin its cycle..and so several parts of the body had to be sewn back together. Then using cybernetic enhancements along with a special gas he had created, Smithers attempted to bring life back into the cold dead corpse. Amazingly enough it worked...but anyone can tell you..that what was once dead..should always remain that way..for its unnatural for it to be other wise. The creature was confused , scared and angry..And so Smithers had to quickly take it "off line". But he was not in the least bit upset..he had proven those fools wrong. He wasn't , however, stupid enough to use this creature in his revenge plot. It was far to unreliable and dangerous to use until he could refine the process and figure out a way to control it. So he stored it and went about his revenge with one of his robots.
Since Smithers' revenge was spoiled by the timely interferance of the hero Greenbird, he was never able to return to his lab to work on his secert project. And so Frankstien laid in the cold storage area of the lab for years..until a freak elecritcal accident reactivated him. With out the Professor there to clam him, Frankstien went on a rampage, until crossing paths with the hero Lonestar.
Dr. Sparks: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v147/Masterhand/DrSparks.jpg
This is Lonestar's third Nemesis. He was once your normal working stiff electrician, who unforutantly was caught in a freak accident at a Chemical plant while fixing their electrical systems. The accident put him in the hospital for at least a month and a half...while in recovery he had a few odd experinces with some electrical applanices. Upon being released , he decided to further experiment and learned that being in an electrical accident at a chemical plant hadn't been a completely bad thing. At first he thought about becoming a superhero and joining in the fight to help clean up MC and the rest of the world. But the more he thought about it, remembered how poorly he had been treated by his peers. He quickly came to the conclusion that they didn't deserve his help..and so he became a super villain using the name of Dr. Sparks.
Electricty/Maniac
My main, Lonestar, has a fourth and current nemesis but I haven't taken any pictures of her yet..once I do though I'll post them here. Hope you guys like ...let me know what you think.
kthxbai.
But thank you for posting your excellent costuming ability for us all to see. Always a pleasure to see other peoples design styles.
Stopwatch:
An AYUS cyborg operative, Stopwatch has a time-freezing drive, hence his name. He uses a blade and a set of poison darts in combat, and his time-freezing abilities make him a formidable opponent to the super-reflex Chisoku. However, his time-freeze drive only kicks in when the going gets tough, and it's juice runs out of power fast. Regardless, Stopwatch is a tough opponent for the blue metal warrior.
Salamander:
Yet another AYUS cyborg operative, Salamander (who was actually originally male, but still looks quite similar to this) is a mute, practically mindless, remote-control husk of a human. She fights with a set of claws, and is extremely flexible (every bone in her body, including her spine, was either replaced or removed to allow for maximum bend range). She is unable to feel pain, and is easily the most stubborn fighter of the AYUS operatives, but she is also easily the least sentient.
Battery:
The last AYUS operative, Battery differs from the last two operatives in that he willingly became a cyborg (whereas the other two were brainwashed into their roles). Battery, as his name suggests, has extensive control over the flow of electricity, and can store an immense amount of voltage within his body and battery backpack. The electricity has stimulated muscular growth within Battery, giving him quite an intimidating stature, as well as quite a powerful punch. Whereas the other two had most of their body replaced with cybernetics to augment their human functions, Battery's modifications are simplistic, but effective; they tacked on a electricity-storing capacitor on his back, and weaved wires throughout his body that supply it with electrical energy, and also put electrodes on his hands, enabling him to sap energy from sources. Due to his loyalty and lack of brainwashing, Battery is the most aware and calculating of the operatives.
Chameleon:
An outfit for a character that, by all means, probably cannot be implemented in the game at all, Chameleon is the real final AYUS operative, and like the typical ones, it's mind is brainwashed. Yep, 'it'. I'm not sure if I really was going for a gender here. I mean, you might be able to tell it's a female by looking at it in the shot, but that's only because of pre-rendered shading that isn't quite true to the form. Seriously. Look at it from the side in the editor and tell me that's a girl. Well, whatever. Chameleon is meant to have an androgynous build, and this is largely because it's built to facilitate holograms around its body, allowing it to look and act like any other normal person. Since you can't really do a shapeshifting villain in CO, though, I don't think it'll end up actually being implemented as a nemesis for Chisoku.
Aves Shlesinger:
This is actually a bit outdated from the final iteration, but the base idea is still apparent; a steampunk-themed gunslinger. Definitely like what I came up with in the final; he looks more like a bounty hunter than a dandy.
Oblivion:
Test outfit; was trying to make some sort of odd dimension beast lady, and this black and blue thing was created.
Phat Larry and his ROBO TROUSERS!:
Ok, and this one is REALLY a test outfit. I was playing around with the body scalers and wondered to myself "Why would anyone want to make their legs that long!? Furthermore, why would anyone want to make their arms THAT short?" Then a villainous idea came up. Enter Phat Larry, who was so lazy, he decided to build a pair of pants to walk for him. He will undoubtedly be one of my nemesis'!
I wouldn't give up on your shape shifter Nemesis idea just yet, maybe at some point in the game's life span Cryptic will introduce a shape shifting power set. ^^
Again, each and every comments are more than welcome!
NOTE: I'm really gonna have to figure something out... I just attained the characters cap within the first post...
http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/2928/thecroc.jpg
Some of you may have seen this classy little fellow run around in MC, and to be honest, I'm pretty proud of it. The costume itself was really a no-brainer, mix together the Sovereign Sons' Alligator Head, with the Breeches dropped by the New Shadows; and then just add a tuxedo on top of that.
Mind you, it's still just a croc in a tux; but this very fact cracks me up to no end.
