A little help here...please...

Greetings my fellow Champions, I was hoping that I might have a bit of your time. You see a while back, around the time of Bloodmoon, I created a new character to explore the Celestial power set...his name is Glorious. My problem is ...is that for the life of me I haven't been able to put together a costume for him that I 100% like. Here's a picture of his current costume..I had altered it from what I had orginially made for him. I was hoping that my fellow Champions might help me come up with a more fitting costume for him..I saw how all of you helped Stormshade...and I figured that I'd give it a shot and ask all of you for help.
I do like his belt and the glowing yellow eyes..but beyond that I'm not very in love with his costume. If it helps I'll give you a summary of his backstory:
John Alexander has always been a deeply religious man, rarely ever missing going to church with his family. However the state that the world was in weighed heavily on John's heart, and he prayed every day thanking God for the heroes that were there to protect the weak. Though John always secertly wanted to be able to fight along side them. Because of his unfaltering faith, he was bestowed with the power of the Heavens so that he might take his faith to the front lines and drive back the evil seeping through the underworld with the glory of Heaven. And thus John became Glorious, Heaven's champion.

As a champion of heaven do you want him to keep his human form or take on a more angelic one possibly?
I am a fan of the whole tights look of Superheros...and by tights I mean like Superman, Batman , The Flash..and so forth..which is why most of my characters all have tights ^^' . As far as colors..I was trying to pull off a kind of light coming from the sky kind of effect with the colors..but I feel that I failed very badly at doing that. I'd like to him to keep his human form..but your Angellic angle sounds interguing..perhaps under the most dire of situations he takes on an angel like form? But as his main costume goes..I'd prefer to keep him in human form.
I tried to stay a little light on the colors; White, blue and yellow are very angellic colors, but not too "dark" or saturated. I also used a lot of ornate patterns where I could, to mimmic what you might see on Holy Knight armor. I also used metal too to make it look armorish, but still in the Tights style. Did a partial mask with the hair, thought it looked pretty good, like "Hair powered by God"
I didn't add an emblem to the chest as they dont fit in the pattern too well.. some do.. you could do back and select one you like.. same for the cape. The cape also looked great in the super light blue as well.
Not super happy with the belt colors still.

Costume file attacked
Toss that in there and reload the game and you should be able to load the costume
Reverse works too; Hit save in the editor it makes one of those files in the screenshots folder which you can share
ahh i didn't know that..learn something new every day thanks ^^
edit: Just tried doing what you said and it wouldn't let me do that.
The saving the costume file to my screen shots...I right clicked it and went into propreties but it wouldn't let me do anything in there.
and save it in your screenshots folder.
ok I did that..so by doing that it should load the costume onto the game?
True..I'm not ready to competely give up yet anyway..just wanted to know how to save that one costume in case i end up chosing to go with it. Going to wait a while longer..hopefully more of my fellow champions will stumble upon my thread.
Here's also my idea for a more angelic look.
Very nice ^^ I like the emblem you came up with for the human one ^^
Edit: The Angel verision though..I like the look..but it would look a lot better and more fearsome if the game had an aura effect. After all..when the Bible talks about Angels it mentions about how they give off an almost blinding light.
I tried to make the pieces that could glow do so, and really bright yellow for the wings. Might try yellow for the chest and shoulders instead of the blue and see if it ties the wings into the costume better, or just might make him look like a giant winged banana. Might look good with the blue shield emblem also then.
I also lightened the skin tone on the angelic version to try to give it more of a glowing look. Not sure how well it looks or if it just makes him look odd.
Hope the costumes ideas help, in the end it's what will represent you in game obviously, not us. So whatever we suggest you'll hopefully improve on until he's yours.
I might end up combining your costume idea and the other one..I'll just have to wait and see if any one else posts any more awesome costume ideas.

Those are nice looks..but I was wanting to keep him more human than angel. He's really just a normal man who is bestowed with the powers of heaven. Though I have been thinking that in times of extreme need the Heavenly powers take over and transform him into an actual angel. But in general he's just a normal guy with super powers.

Nice mate, I really like what you did here.
I spent a couple of minutes quickly putting something together SneakyCheeks, maybe there's something in these two creations that sparks an idea for you. I also stayed pretty basic with just a couple of colours.

So the Simple clean look you have gives the look without sacrificing concept or over Accessorizing.
He's a human that's given the powers of heaven though..so making his skin metal would sort make not human lol. When I was talking about his body giving off a glow..I was talking about his rare heavenly form..that takes over in times of grave danger. One of the people posted an "angel" form for him..and I made the comment that it would look a lot more terrorfying if there were auras in the game.
